Contestando la primera pregunta planteada en el post reto, he tenido a lo largo de mis 62 años diferentes pasiones que fueron evolucionando. En mi juventud me encantaba coleccionar estampillas. Al principio las recibia en las cartas que enviaban mis familiares desde España. Cuando estudie en la ciudad de Caracas en 1980 descubrí unos locales que vendian estampillas, allí aumente mi colección de filatelia.
Answering the first question posed in the challenge post, I have had different passions throughout my 62 years that have evolved. In my youth I loved to collect stamps. At first I received them in the letters that my relatives sent from Spain. When I studied in the city of Caracas in 1980 I discovered some places that sold stamps, there I increased my philately collection.
También me gustaba tomar fotografías pero por supuesto la cámara no era profesional, sólo tomaba reuniones familiares o con amigos cuando ibamos a pasear. Ahora con la nueva técnologia de los móviles, simplemente las fotografías me resultan hermosas, fáciles y no hay que mandarlas a revelar, lo cuál costaba mucho dinero. Ahora simplemente la subo a la nube.
I also liked to take pictures but of course the camera was not professional, I only took family reunions or with friends when we went for a walk. Now with the new cell phone technology, the photos are simply beautiful, easy and you don't have to send them to be developed, which used to cost a lot of money. Now I just upload it to the cloud.
Bueno no ésta nube, la nube de internet, pero también me encanta captar hermosos cielos cada mañana. Admirar la naturaleza y respetarla es parte de mi otra pasión mis hermosas plantas que me dan flores espectaculares.
Well not this cloud, the internet cloud, but I also love capturing beautiful skies every morning. Admiring nature and respecting it is part of my other passion, my beautiful plants that give me spectacular flowers.
Cuidar mis plantas para tener la vista de estas hermosas flores en mi jardín. Desde la Rosa del desierto que tiene varios colores, fucsia, rojo, blanco hasta llegar a la consentida de la dama de la noche o flor de baile, ella es única, son enormes, de color blanco y un aroma que invade mi jardín. Su particular nombre viene de que sólo abre su flor muy tarde en la noche, a partir de las 9 y media de la noche aproximadamente y ya en la madrugada a cerrado totalmente. Para poder disfrutar de ella debo hacerle guardia de noche si deseo fotografiarla.
Take care of my plants to have the sight of these beautiful flowers in my garden. From the Desert Rose that has various colors, fuchsia, red, white to the spoiled lady of the night or dance flower, she is unique, they are huge, white and an aroma that invades my garden. Its particular name comes from the fact that it only opens its flower very late at night, starting at approximately 9:30 at night and already at dawn it is completely closed. In order to enjoy it, I must watch it at night if I want to photograph it.
