Empowered and Empowering Others [Eng/Esp]

Over the years, and as a result of struggles that are still going on in every corner of the planet, women are seen in a different way and our role in society is completely different, but there are still many who live oppressed and even if we do not march for their rights, there is much we can do from our positions.

Happy day friends of #ladiesofhive, once again I find myself in this beautiful community to join your weekly initiative, thanks to the invitation of my dear friend @bluevives.

So today we will talk a little about our rights and how we support others in the fight for theirs, a topic that being a lawyer caught my attention of course, but beyond that as a professional woman, worker, mother, daughter, sister, wife, friend and housewife.

So many roles, isn't it? It is incredible all the things we can do today when a few years ago the only role of women in society was to procreate and take care of their home, but thanks to the struggle of many today we are on par with men in equal rights and although it is not so in some parts of the world is a struggle that is not given for lost and that is fought every day for those who still have no voice and that their lives are still subject to the will of others.

And although as I said above, we are not part of that group of tireless fighters who work every day for those who are still invisible to society, from home, from our workplaces and even from our families there is much we can do.

So let's start at home by teaching our daughters their true value and how capable they are. Let's forget those grandparents' phrases "girls don't do that, that's a boy's thing ", because they must understand that they are capable of doing everything they want to do, that they set their own limits and that they can fly as high as they want. That, my friends, is also fighting for our rights.

Empowering that friend who has not understood the strength and power she has in her hands, her mind and her heart, so that she can achieve everything her heart desires and yearns for. Let us push and help her to raise her voice, to recognize her worth and move firmly towards what she wants.

And finally let's show men that times have changed, that we are as capable as they are, that being a woman does not make us fragile, on the contrary, it makes us stronger and that the "weaker sex" is nothing more than a memory of the past.

Our struggle is day by day, with those who are close to us, with those who have not yet discovered their brilliance. Let's be light and help others to shine. Kisses and blessings girls!

A través de los años, y como resultado de luchas que aún se mantienen vigentes en todos los rincones del planeta, las mujeres somos vistas de otra manera y nuestro papel en la sociedad es completamente diferente, pero aun son muchas las que viven oprimidas y aunque no marchemos en pro de sus derechos es mucho lo que podemos hacer desde nuestras posiciones.

Feliz día amigas de #ladiesofhive, una vez más me encuentro en esta hermosa comunidad para unirme a su iniciativa semanal, gracias a la invitación de mi quería amiga @bluevives.

Así que hoy hablaremos un poco acerca de nuestros derechos y cómo apoyamos a otras en la lucha de los suyos, tema que al ser abogada llamó mucho mi atención por supuesto, pero más allá de ello como mujer profesional, trabajadora, madre, hija, hermana, esposa, amiga y ama de casa.

Cuantos roles verdad?? Es increíble todas las cosas que hoy día podemos hacer cuando hace unos cuantos años el único papel de la mujer en la sociedad era el de procrear y cuidar de su hogar, pero gracias a la lucha de muchos hoy estamos a la par de los hombres en igualdad de derechos y aunque no sea así en algunos lugares del mundo es una lucha que no se da por perdida y que se pelea día a día por aquellas que aún no tienen voz y que sus vidas siguen estando sujetas a la voluntad de otros.

Y aunque como dije un poco más arriba, no formemos parte de ése grupo de luchadores incansables que día a día trabajan por aquellas que aún son invisibles para la sociedad, desde casa, desde nuestros lugares de trabajo e incluso desde nuestras familias es mucho lo que podemos hacer.

Así que comencemos desde casa enseñando a nuestras hijas su verdadero valor y lo capaces que son. Olvidemos esas frases de los abuelos "las niñas no hacen eso, eso es cosa de varones", pues deben entender que son capaces de hacer todo lo que se propongan y desean, que los límites se los ponen ellas mismas y que pueden volar tan alto como deseen. Eso mis amigas también es luchar por nuestros derechos.

Empoderar a esa amiga que no ha entendido la fuerza y el poder que tiene en sus manos, su mente y su corazón, para que logre alcanzar todo aquello que desea y anhela su corazón. Impulsemos y ayudémoslas a levantar su voz, a reconocer su valía y avanzar con firmeza hacia lo que quiere.

Y por último demostremos a los hombres que los tiempos han cambiado, que somos tan capaces como ellos, que ser mujer no nos hace frágiles, todo lo contrario, nos hace más fuertes y que aquello del "sexo débil no es más que un recuerdo del pasado.

Nuestra lucha es día a día, con las que tenemos cerca, con esas que aún no han descubierto su brillo. Seamos luz y ayudemos a otras a brillar. Besitos y bendiciones chicas!
