LOH #183: The Last But Probably Not!

Capturing moments has been one of my favorite things to do wherever I am may it be a simple selfie, a picturesque view of nature, a delicious foodie, or a travel escapade. Perhaps I had captured it last time but probably it is not the last.

And that, I am grateful to dear @saffisara for the wonderful question this week that took me back to my phone gallery as I chose to share the first question that goes:

What was the last photo you took? Share it with us and tell the story behind it!

The last photo that I took was a moment of stunning landscape in a wild scenery while having the golden hour.

It was so timely to capture this beautiful moment when my feet led me to Mampayag-Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, Philippines to buy a variety of lettuce. My excitement to buy lettuce even turned surprising when we passed by a scenery that truly captivated my heart.

Instead of going to the farm to buy lettuce, I tried to find a perfect spot where I could capture everything while I was surrounded by mountain vistas as I was headed on my way toward my destination.

Who would have thought that I would find this rare scenery that looked like an amazing painting of nature?

At first, what amazed me was the presence of the ever-green scenery with the wild heart of nature but the golden hour had even made the landscape so majestic. Tripping down memory lane, I found a spot where I could capture the view and it felt like I was at the summit although I was just standing on an inclined area. It was so overlooking and breathtaking.

While I was there, I have seen birds from afar. As I looked at the photo that I had taken, when I zoomed in, I was surprised that I was able to capture a blackbird on top of the mountain.

Aside from the stolen shot of the flying blackbird, it was nice to see the wild ferns, the variety of wild trees, the blooming tree with flowers in shades of orange, the scenic mountains, valleys, and hills, along with the blue sky and the puffy plates.

This is Bukidnon, this is home, a place where simple moments become priceless with the amazing beauty of nature that surrounds us. But despite being surrounded by this display, I must say that this is an extraordinary and rare view for me since this moment would never be the same in the future times.

Indeed, there was a beautiful spectrum of colors as the Sun was going down. If there is one word that I would use to describe the last photo that I took, that would be ‘mesmerizing’.

Perhaps I was so mesmerized by the wonderful view of the wild before me. I felt like my soul was reconnected to the wild heart of nature while being unplugged for a moment. This may be the last photo that I have taken but I firmly believe that there is more to discover at an unexpected moment. And I will always consider this as one of the most beautiful memories of a day of my life.
