We had to cancel our summer holiday trip due to an accident and since I spend my two weeks of holiday at home I decided to go and do bathroom facelift.

The main problem was all the different colors going on, excess silicone here and there, old lighting and some rusting metal. The water is undrinkable thanks to climate change and it's rusting everything.
The bathroom cabinet had been painted already, so I decided to just go and paint it with out any prep work. The reason why it looked wrong was the cold tone of pink. The tiles are warm toned so it just didn't go well together.
So I took the shower curtain down, painted the rod and the laundry basket as well. Painted the wood paneling. We use this tub only for washing dogs, so I decided to put pretty fabric shower curtain as a decoration with some gold color curtain hangers.
I threw the old light away and installed USB lights that fitted the over all theme. The cabinet got gray color and I changed the door handles.
Laundry basket is now white, I used chalk paint to give it uneven finish
And then of course matching fluffy carpet:
I like the end result so much. It's now cozy, inviting & cohesive space.
