LOH #194 - Alone with my thoughts

Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome.🤗

Many thanks to @joanstewart for this week's prompt.

I will be answering question 2.

How do you feel when alone, answering your thoughts?

Source

When I am alone, answering my thoughts brings my feelings and emotions to the forefront of my consciousness.

Usually, whenever I'm alone with my thoughts, there's this unusual calm in my mind that makes me dive deep into introspection.

Being alone with my thoughts is something I do almost every night. A friend of mine taught me this some years ago. He taught me how to be alone with my thoughts, and this has made it easier for me to listen to my inner voice and also to reflect on every activity that took place during the day.

Being alone with my thoughts in a quiet environment makes it easier for me to consider the direction my life is taking. By pondering my goals and aspirations, it also helps me to understand my emotions most of the time.

Personally, I feel that answering your thoughts in solitude can increase your awareness.

Possibly you shared things in the past with your mother, grandmother, or sister — someone now no longer with you — do you turn to them asking what would they say if they were with you today? Please share those inner thoughts and fears you carry in your heart.

I had a mentor I would always call whenever I had a lot of questions in my head and no possible answer. He would always help out and advise me on what to do, but he's no longer within reach.

At first, I had fears. When I could no longer reach him, I always wondered who I would turn to whenever I needed someone to talk to. It felt like I was never going to get someone to always answer my questions. but not anymore because I now realize that I still have friends and family I can always turn to for answers whenever I am worried.
