This is my first post in this community that values women and I invite @blanca56 to participate. Christmas time is the most beautiful time of the year.
1) What is your favorite thing about this time of year?
- Sharing with the family:
For me the most important thing is the family reunion, planning all the details so that this family union happens without any trauma, that there is happiness, cordiality, love and union. This time it will be with fewer members.

Every year since I formed my family I have made hallacas, pan de jamón, dulce de lechosa, pernil and other dishes, I have documented myself with magazines and books to make them and that they are of quality and everyone is delighted with my preparations, for that reason I like these dates to please my family and their palate.
- Ornaments and lights
I like to decorate my Christmas tree, walls and doors with wreaths, boots and lights of various types. I also make the characteristic nativity scene in my country Venezuela as a tradition. I'm sorry but my photos are low quality taken last year.
- The gifts:
When my children were children I took great care to make them the gift of the child God, in the middle of the year I started looking for the ideal gift, according to their age and usefulness. And then prepare the day that was placed under the tree and that they did not realize it, it was a meticulous process for them to believe that it was the child God who gave them a gift for their good behavior during the year. It was spectacular all those days, besides the candies and sweets.
Nowadays it is more difficult, the times have changed notably, now we have to reinvent ourselves to look for other methods like in the sections and in specialized stores to be able to buy the right article to give as a gift, and to be valued.
- Music:
There is a variety of music heard during these days, such as the bagpipes, dances by Billo Frómeta one of the most popular songs "Año Nuevo", church songs sung by choirs in the aguinaldos masses, one of my favorite Christmas carols is the tamborilero and niño lindo.
2.) How would you spend a million dollars?
- It would help to heal several family members:
At this time because of the economic crisis and the pandemic I have several sick relatives with serious pathologies that must consume medicines for life and because of the shortage and because the health system does not work, their lives are in decline and I wish I could help this group of friends and family.

- I would like to buy a big house with garden and yard.
Because I don't have my own house at the moment one of my dreams is to have and be able to buy a big house to live pleasantly and very happy. And also with a big garden because I love plants and flowers.
- I would like to invest in rural tourism:
I would like to invest in rural tourism because there are many places and landscapes in the country to promote employment and it would significantly improve the economy.
- I would invest in professional studies and courses for my children and a family member.
For me, the most important thing for the human being is to have knowledge and this is obtained through the opportunities of the houses of studies that provide many facilities for children, adolescents and adults to obtain these skills, and for my children, which is what I love the most, is what I have always tried to help them to study so they can defend themselves in daily life.
- I would donate to institutions dedicated to feeding the elderly and children.
Due to the problems of the bad economy and the high level of emigration, there are many elderly people and children who are helpless and who are not protected.
It is sad and regrettable to see grandparents who gave all their lives and children who would be the future of a country wandering, searching for garbage to eat, a sad reality.

Esta es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad que valora a la mujer e invito a @blanca56 a participar en la misma. La época navideña es la mas hermosa del año.
1) ¿Que es lo que mas te gusta de esta época del año?
- Compartir con la familia:
Para mi lo mas importante es la reunión familiar, planificar todos los detalles para que esa unión familiar se dé sin ningún trauma, que haya felicidad, cordialidad, amor y unión. Esta vez será con menos integrantes.

- Me encanta la gastronomía de esta época.
Todos los años desde que formé a mi familia he realizado las hallacas, el pan de jamón , el dulce de lechosa, el pernil y otros platos, me he documentado con revistas y libros para realizarlos y que queden de calidad y todos queden encantados con mis preparaciones, por esa razón me gusta estas fechas para complacer a mi familia y su paladar.
- Los adornos y luces
Me gusta adornar mi árbol de navidad, las paredes y puertas con coronas, botas y las luces de varios tipos. Además realizo el pesebre característico en mi pais Venezuela como tradición. Lamento pero mis fotos están bajas de calidad tomadas el año pasado.
- Los regalos:
Cuando mis hijos eran niños me esmeraba para realizarle el regalo del niño Dios, a mediados del año empezaba a buscar el regalo ideal, según su edad y la utilidad. Y luego preparar el día que se colocaba debajo del árbol y que ellos no se dieran cuenta, era todo un meticuloso proceso para que creyeran que era el niño Dios que les regalaba por su buen comportamiento en el año. Era espectacular todo eso días, ádemas de las chucherías y caramelos.
Hoy en día es mas difícil, los tiempos han cambiado notablemente, ahora tenemos que reinventarse buscar otros métodos como apartados y en comercios especializadas para lograr comprar el articulo acorde para regalar, y para que sea valorado.
- La música:
Hay una variedad de música que se escuchan en estos días, como las gaitas, bailables de Billo Frómeta una de las canciones mas populares "Año Nuevo", los cánticos de iglesias cantadas por coros en las misas de aguinaldos, unas de mis villancicos favoritos es el tamborilero y niño lindo.
2.) ¿Como gastaría un millón de dolares?
- Ayudaría a sanar a varios familiares:
En estos momentos por la crisis económica y la pandemia tengo varios familiares enfermos con patologías graves que deben consumir medicamentos de por vidas y por la carestía y por no funcionar el sistema de salud, están en decadencia sus vidas y desearía poder ayudar a ese grupo de amigos y familiares.

- Compraría una casa grande con jardín y patio.
Por no poseer casa propia en estos momentos unos de mi sueños es tener y poder comprar una casa grande para vivir placenteramente y muy feliz. Y además con un gran jardín porque soy amante de las plantas y flores.
- Me gustaría invertir en turismo rural:
Me gustaría invertir en el turismo rural porque en el pais hay muchos sitios y paisajes para promover el empleo y se mejoraría notablemente la economía.
- Invertiría en estudios profesionales y cursos para mis hijos y algún familiar
Para mi, lo mas importante del ser humano es tener conocimiento y este se obtiene a través de las oportunidades de las casas de estudios que brindan muchas facilidades para que los niños, adolescentes y adultos obtengan esas habilidades, y para mis hijos que es lo que mas amo, es lo que siempre he tratado de ayudar a que estudien para que puedan defenderse en la vida diaria.
- Donaría a instituciones dedicados a alimentar a ancianos y niños.
Debido a la problemática de la mala economía que nos embarga y la emigración tan pronunciada existen muchos ancianos y niños desamparados sin proteccion.
Es triste y lamentable ver abuelos que dieron todos su vida y niños que serían el futuro de un pais deambulando, registrando, buscando desperdicios para comer, una triste realidad.
