¿Cuántas veces te miras al espejo?
Chicas les cuento que mi único espejo en este momento es uno que uso para depilar mi rostro, es decir, es muy pequeño y lo tengo guardado en un estuche. Lo usaré como mucho 3 veces a la semana!!
Luego el otro espejo que uso a veces para ver si mi cabello quedó bien después de lavarlo y secarlo es el del microondas que es espejado.
Sin embargo no soy de mirarme al espejo como lo hace mi compañero, que al dejarse el cabello largo, pasa mirándose en el microondas para ver si le quedó bien, creo que es porque aún no se acostumbra a tenerlo largo ya que en Venezuela le obligaban a tenerlo corto y prolijo todo el tiempo ni si quiera en vacaciones podía usarlo largo. Asique ahora que es adulto y vive su vida como le gusta, decidió dejárselo largo para vivir esa experiencia y yo lo apoyo al 100%.

However, I am not looking at myself in the mirror as my partner does, who when he grows his hair long, spends looking at himself in the microwave to see if it turned out well, I think it is because he is still not used to having it long since in Venezuela they forced him To keep it short and neat all the time, I couldn't even wear it long on vacation. So now that he is an adult and he lives his life as he likes, he decided to leave it long to live that experience and I support him 100%.
¿Cuál fue la excusa más increíble que has hecho?
Hace un tiempo atrás fui invitada a participar de un evento que se realiza cada año en Montevideo y se llama Montevideo Místico. El evento consta de 3 días en el salón de un hotel donde hay diferentes stand con temáticas relacionadas a terapias alternativas. La invitación me sorprendió mucho ya que nunca pensé que mis productos podrían interesarles a ellos.
Yo vendo fermentos artesanales, como Kéfir de agua, Kéfir de leche, Kombucha, Masa madre, encurtidos, chucrut, kvas de remolacha, cerveza de jengibre, etc. y poco a poco voy incorporando más alimentos fermentados a mi lista de productos.
Por este motivo yo fui invitada. Me llamaron a una reunión para contarme sobre todo el funcionamiento del evento en sí. Hasta que llegó el momento de los números... y ahí se me desmoronó todo. Un stand costaba más de 5000 pesos uruguayos, es decir, más de 100 dólares. Se imaginan que en medio de la pandemia y teniendo que sobrevivir en un país tan caro como Uruguay, pagar esa cantidad de dinero por un evento me era imposible.
Asique mi excusa fue algo real. Debo operarme de Acalasia Severa, un problema en los músculos lisos del esófago. Esta operación me cuesta entre 500 y 1000 dólares, la maniobra que deben realizar es de alto riesgo, es la de Heller y estoy juntando ese dinero gracias a la venta de mis productos. Por ende no tengo para gastar lo poco que junté en un stand por 3 días.
Les cuento que a ellos no les importó mucho, ya que su respuesta fue que si yo invertía en el stand iba a poder juntar ese dinero en ese fin de semana.
Sinceramente no lo creo así, porque la gran mayoría de stands son de: runas, ángeles, tarot, registros akashicos, meditación, yoga y ese tipo de "alternativas" y lo mío va más por la salud digestiva. La gente va preparada para saber su futuro, no para ver fermentos. Pienso yo, nunca fui, por eso no lo sé...
De todas maneras ellos me dejaron la invitación abierta para poder participar en un próximo evento luego de mi operación, lo que me dejó muy contenta. Nunca me había pasado aquí en Uruguay de que reconozcan mi labor y eso me puso muy feliz.

I sell craft ferments, such as Water Kefir, Milk Kefir, Kombucha, Sourdough, Pickles, Sauerkraut, Beet Kvass, Ginger Beer, etc. and little by little I am incorporating more fermented foods to my list of products.
For this reason I was invited. They called me to a meeting to tell me about the whole operation of the event itself. Until the moment of the numbers... and then everything fell apart. A stand cost more than 5000 Uruguayan pesos, that is, more than 100 dollars. They imagine that in the midst of the pandemic and having to survive in a country as expensive as Uruguay, paying that amount of money for an event was impossible for me.
So my excuse was something real. I must have an operation for Achalasia Severa, a problem with the smooth muscles of the esophagus. This operation costs me between 500 and 1000 dollars, the maneuver they must perform is high risk, it is Heller's and I am raising that money thanks to the sale of my products. Therefore I do not have to spend the little that I collected in a stand for 3 days.
I tell them that they did not care much, since their response was that if I invested in the stand, I would be able to raise that money that weekend.
I honestly do not think so, because the vast majority of stands are of: runes, angels, tarot, Akashic records, meditation, yoga and that type of "alternatives" and mine is more for digestive health. People are prepared to know their future, not to see ferments. I think, I never was, that's why I don't know...
In any case, they left me an open invitation to participate in an upcoming event after my operation, which made me very happy. It had never happened to me here in Uruguay that they recognized my work and that made me very happy.
