Hola a todos en la comunidad de LADIES OF HIVE respondiendo a la pregunta de LA 78 ° EDICIÓN del CONCURSO COMUNITARIO LADIES OF HIVE. [fuente](https://ecency.com/hive-124452/@ladiesofhive/ladies-of-hive-community-contest-78)

Hello everyone in the LADIES OF HIVE community answering the question of THE 78th EDITION of the LADIES OF HIVE COMMUNITY CONTEST [source](https://ecency.com/hive-124452/@ladiesofhive/ladies-of-hive-community-contest-contest-78)

And the truth is. We all had a person who helped us grow up....
My grandfather Antonio Urbaneja, was for me that person who helped me, that favorite teacher, that I had in my childhood who always had a moment to give us a reflection that touched our soul, he always had time, either to correct us or encourage us to continue, he lived very close to the house.

I was very introverted and went out very little, since being the eldest daughter I had to take care of my siblings while my parents worked and I hardly went out, from home to school and from school to home. But there was time for something, the appointments with my grandfather, mostly in the afternoons was something fixed.

There was always a perfect excuse to talk to him, consult him about something or tell him about the day to day, asking for his opinion was something very common, it was customary for me to have my grandfather's approval, I remember that in 5th grade I rebelled along with my whole section and we made a fuss in class because we had an interim or substitute teacher and we wanted her to leave and the official teacher to come.

We were all scolded and punished by being suspended from the field trip that the school organized for the graduates every year and when my grandfather heard the rumor he called us, an aunt who was his youngest daughter and me his granddaughter who studied together and asked us, our version and when we told him, he scolded us in such a subtle way asking us reflexive questions.

What did we think of what we had done?

How did we feel?

And we were really embarrassed and he just said: mmm I thought you were proud of what you had done.
And that was the end of the conversation and he left.

And we also got up from there to see what we could do to change the bad image that my grandfather had of us and about half a week later he asked us what had happened at school those days, I think the others made the same call, because both we and the whole section had changed our attitude in class and the teacher was very happy and my grandfather asked us and when we told him that everything had improved, this time he said: mmm good that everything was better.

And after that we were fine again, to feel and see that my grandfather was no longer sad about our attitude, when he was sad or angry he spoke very little, so again everything was like before and we talked for hours, he told us his anecdotes, at the same time he left us a moral that touched our soul.

My grandfather was great, he only had one defect, he hated to have his picture taken, I only have two pictures of him, one like a passport and the other is a newspaper, a small interview from a newspaper that was recorded when he came home from work.

This way of being my grandfather always kept me very close to him, I admired him, there was always an answer on his lips for everything.

Well this brought me a problem because when I was getting married, the first thing I did was to talk to my grandfather, because I needed to hear his opinion.

And when my dad found out he got a little jealous and was upset to know that I talked to my grandfather first about it, my dad said he felt slighted, he was like that for a few days, then he understood that it was nothing like that. And he was happy again that his first daughter was getting married.

And my favorite pet

I must say that every pet we've had has been my favorite, I think I've always kept their cute side. And there have been many that we have had.

When I was a child I remember we had a little dog that learned to behave like a donkey, because she bucked like a donkey and we, my brothers and I would put a load on her, we would look for corn husks or twigs and we would make her a load like a donkey and she would let us put it on her and then she would buck until she threw it away and when she felt free she would come to us to continue the game and when she got tired she would lie down on the floor and we knew we had to leave her alone.

How we suffered when she died, that for a long time I closed my heart, I didn't want to know anything more about pets.
After that, although more dogs were brought into the house, I didn't go near them.

But when I got married there was a dog in the house called pitu and this name was given to him by my younger sister, as she did not know how to say doggy, she said piituu and the dog only obeyed that name. Then that dog died and we got this one who was also black and inherited the name. When I got married, I moved nearby and pitu came with me and well I confess that he forced me to love him! and without realizing it he won a place in my heart, especially because he had the secret of youth, that dog lasted about 15 years and died because he was run over by a car.

This dog was my daughter's pet, she grew up playing with him, as I said, he had the secret of youth.
And finally we had 3 of which only one is with us.

Princesa was a white poodle or puder that was given to us and she gave birth to 5 puppies, 4 big ones and a chiquitica that did not suckle, but had an immense desire to live, she cried until we realized that she was hungry and I fed her with formula milk for several days until she managed to suck her mother's teat and was saved and we called her ¨Chiquita ¨ and when she grew up I left her at home and the other puppies we sold them. Chiquita was very energetic.

And 2 years ago she was stolen, she learned to dance and to do a dance to the people who came to visit us and some of those who saw her stole her. Because several guys had told us to sell her, so we suspect that one of those who wanted her stole her, because one morning she disappeared and when we told my dad he told us that he went out that day and saw some guys carrying a dog just like ours a few blocks from the house.

And well, we only have skiper left. This is a little dog that my daughter found and the day my daughter brought him home they showed a movie on TV about a little dog named skiper, so we called him that even though skiper was sick he didn't give Lidia to sleep at night, that's why he won my heart immediately and learned to play with us, to look for the ball.
When we would come back he would make a fuss celebrating that we were back, even if it was only for a little while that we were out of the house.

Today he is a big boy, but he is still very playful and these days he betrayed us hahaha.
They say that dogs are faithful, but this one, not so much, he moved with a new family that lives in the same block where we live, as they have two small children he lives playing with the children of those neighbors, he still comes home but only for a little while and then he goes back to the neighbors. The good thing is that these neighbors love him a lot too.

Well, that's the end of my favorite people story.

What else can I say, very good this theme that invites us to remember those beings so important in our lives, thank you very much for this theme, making this post based mostly on memories gave me great pleasure. And I think it's a great way to honor them.
So blessings and a big hug
