Dear Revin,
It's been several years since you left us, and not a day goes by that I don't think of you and miss you deeply. Your sudden departure from this world left a void in my heart that can never be filled. There are so many things left unsaid, emotions left unexpressed, and moments left unshared. If you can read this letter from heaven, I want you to know how much you meant to me and how deeply you are missed.
You were not just a great son, brother, friend, and partner, but you were also an incredible father to our daughter, Ayesha. Your passing left her without a father figure, and it breaks my heart to see her grow up without you by her side. She carries a piece of you within her, and I am committed to ensuring that she knows how amazing you were and how much you loved her.
I regret not saying sorry for any misunderstandings or mistakes we had before you left. I wish I had the chance to make amends and tell you how much you meant to me. However, I hold onto the memory of the last time I saw you. Before I went back to my hometown to celebrate Eid, I kissed your hand, and little did I know it would be our last goodbye. That memory brings both comfort and sadness, as I wish I had more time with you.
You were a responsible and loving man who always treated me like a queen. You never wanted me to work or take on any burdens because you wanted to be responsible for taking care of me. Your love and devotion were evident in every action you took to make me happy and ensure my well-being. From driving back from Semporna to Tawau when I was unwell during my pregnancy with Ayesha to surprising me with flowers for no reason other than to see me smile, you constantly showed me your love and thoughtfulness.
I admired how you respected and loved my parents, especially my mother. Your love for her was evident in the way you treated her with kindness and affection. You protected and cared for my family as if they were your own, and I will forever be grateful for the love you showed them. Even my other children from a previous relationship felt your love and regarded you as their father. You embraced them as your own and treated them with the same love and respect you showed Ayesha. If I were to ask them who they loved and respected as a father figure, they would undoubtedly name you.
I wish I had been home with you on that fateful day. I believe that if I were there, you would have stayed home with me, and we would have spent the day watching movies together. It hurts to think that I could have prevented your accident if only I had been by your side.
Revin, you were wise and mature beyond your years. Your level of maturity and responsibility was remarkable, and it was one of the many reasons why I fell in love with you. You had a way of making me feel safe and secure, and I miss that feeling every day.
As I write this letter, I want you to know that your memory lives on in our hearts. I strive to be the best mother I can be to Ayesha and ensure that she grows up knowing the incredible person you were. Your love, kindness, and selflessness continue to inspire me, and I carry your legacy with me every day.
Until we meet again, know that you are deeply loved and missed. I hope that you are at peace, watching over us from above. Thank you for the love and happiness you brought into my life. You will always hold a special place in my heart.
