Despite the cool weather we are having this year, spring is arriving in a profusion of pink.
This magnolia is putting on a pretty show! The flowers appear before the leaf buds open.
This old crab apple tree brightens up it's neighborhood.
The daffodils are blooming, summer birds are beginning to return. and I had one night this week where I was able to sleep with the bedroom window cracked open and wake to the sounds of birds singing.
Oh, and there is road construction happening in front of my house. That is a definite sign that spring has arrived!
