Como todos saben Octubre es el mes rosa y específicamente el dia 19 se celebró el mes de la Sensibilización del Cáncer de Mama.

Razón por la cual en la clínica donde trabajo realizaron una jornada para la prevención del cáncer de mama con una ecomamografía, a un bajo costo, así que no desaproveche la oportunidad y me la hice ademas de haber tenido el apoyo de mi jefa quien también se la realizó.
Which is why at the clinic where I work they carried out a day for the prevention of breast cancer with an ecomamography, at a low cost, so I did not miss the opportunity and I did it in addition to having the support of my boss who also made it.
Cuando cumpli 40años, mi ginecólogo me recomendó hacerme una ecomamografía, ya que era a edad conveniente para hacer ese chequeo, lo que había pospuesto desde hace rato, en ese entonces solo me hice el ecomamario, porqué siempre he presentado un poco de sensibilidad en los pezones, obteniendo resultados favorables.

Les confieso que a pesar de ser un chequeo de prevención, estaba muy nerviosa me aterraba la idea de sentir dolor, había escuchado en varias oportunidades conversaciones de mujeres donde decían que era doloroso cuando se realizaban estudio.

Primero te hacen la mamografía: La verdad es que es un poquito molesto, porque te aplastan el seno al momento de tomar las imágenes, pero no doloroso como pensaba.

Luego te hacen un ecomamario para complementar el estudio, estos 2 pasos conforman la ecomamografía.

Los resultados me los entregan la semana que viene, me siento tranquila después de haberla realizado, aparentemente todo esta bien gracias a Dios.

La mamografía y el autoexamen de mamas deben ser hechos sin temor pues no siempre resultarán en un cáncer de mamas. El beneficio en caso de descubrir un signo de cáncer de mamas es que realizados con la periodicidad adecuada estos controles permiten la detección temprana.
