Passion week is a very crucial holiday remembered and celebrated by all Christian. It marks Christ's death and resurrection. It is a remarkable event that reminds Christian's of Christ suffering for mankind and his Victory over death.
Easter week begins with Palm Sunday when Christ made triumphal entry to Jerusalem. During this week, there are so many religious activities. These were the activities that and since it's holiday week, I made sure I participated actively, consciously in all the religious activities in the parish.
On Maundy Thursday marks the beginning of the Easter Triduum which includes Good Friday and Holy Saturday. These days are very solemn days as they remind us of Christ's passion and resurrection. These days have their own activities in different churches as way of marking Christ's Paschal Triduum.
After my religious activities, I celebrated and had fun on Easter Sunday. I wanted to spend time with my family but distance was a grave barrier. I was left to celebrate on my own.
After attending Mass on Sunday, I prepared my Easter rice as we call it. Then I spent quality time watching movies. This made my night engaging and fun.
