Greetings ladies, this week's contest is an interesting one and I know there will be lots of interesting entries to read through. All thanks to @thekittygirl for putting up this wonderful questions to us ladies. I will be answering this below:
But, really, would this work, a society of all women? —(barring, of course, the reproductive concerns of keeping our civilization in existence) — Could women live and work together in peace, building each other up? Or would basic human nature interfere and create rivalries and contention? What do you think?
There is this superstitious notion that many have that society of women can not exist without chaos, disagreement and troubles.
It is difficult to assume that the society of all women would be worthless without reproductive concerns.
Women, like every other group in society, are not without challenges. Disagreement could arise based on some factors like religious views, political and social views and other personal issues.
But regardless, a society of women has existed . We have societies like feminist collectives, association of all women, etc. All these are all-women communities and these societies have helped in fostering a sense of oneness, tolerance, harmony, and communication can help foster positive societal changes.
Also, with society of women in place in our today's world, has helped women in fighting for their rights, and has a strong pillar in solidarity to address and tackle societal issues.
However, it is good for all to bear in mind that disagreement and conflicts are not by any means caused by gender but rather an inherent factor in human nature. That is, all-women society could experience conflicts between themselves just like any other group of society. It is possible for women to create cooperative, collaboration, support and productive communities.
