Also @helenchy, thanks sweetie for the invite to this contest, your invitation was a great reminder. Then, for this contest, I will be writing on the second topic which says:
What job would you be absolutely terrible at?
They are numerous jobs and while humans are good at some, one maybe very or a bit lagging behind at the others due to many certain challenges or factors such as cognitive biases, some maybe physical limitations while some maybe emotional depending on the nature of the job or task involved .
For me, the task I am very terrible at is teaching when it involves calculations. We do daily calculations although sometimes it could be just simple arithmetic. But in a teaching job, you need to do both the basic and advanced arithmetic calculations. Doing complex mathematical calculations has become a very terrible task for me. I can perform the basic arithmetics but I get very terrible at it when it involves advanced calculations.
While I do very well in all other subjects that don't require calculations. Just about three weeks ago, I had a topic in mathematics to teach my pupils at school. It was on "Division of whole numbers using 3-digits by 3-digits.' While some will say "yeah that's very simple" . There is no denial or argument but our brains are limited in terms of speed. The example in the textbook was not simplified which left me confused on the formula used to arrive at the final answer. I tried all my best to see if I would get the idea of how they arrived at the solution but to no avail.

It was a very hard nut for me to crack that week. I had to skip the topic, and did my research online on how to solve the problem. Luckily for me, I got a solution. I found numerous examples in well simplified steps. With the knowledge derived from the research, I was able to solve the ones in the textbook accurately.
After the incident, knowing that the school frowns at teachers skipping lessons and also that not being a good quality of a teacher. I began preparing two weeks before the next topic in mathematics. Just so I can tackle any complex topic beforehand as the saying goes "forewarned is forearmed".
