I Wish She Could Read this Letter -| LOH Community Contest 160

Hi gorgeous ladies of Hive, what a nice weekend and great day, Greetings from here. Thanks so much @jane1289 for this great prompts.

Do you know someone dear to your heart who passed away unexpectedly? In case he/she can read your letter from heaven, what do you want to tell him/her? You can express your feelings, emotions, and everything else you've been holding inside that remained unspoken before he/she passed away.

Sitting down to pen this epistle down by reminiscences me of memories we shared while you are still on Earth. The genuine love you showed me , whenever I remember you are no longer sending unrealistic wishes to my soul. Knowing there are so many things I wish you knew about I didn't have the privilege to show you, the unspoken things I wish I had said to you.

Though I was unable to say them to your face, I want to express my appreciation for the kindness, motherly love and kind words you showed throughout my stay with you. The genuine laughter and welcoming presence I felt whenever I was around you made me wish I could see you again. I want to let you know no one has filled that vacuum since your departure. You are my one in a million and I wanted you to live to enjoy the fruit of your labor in a million folds.

Your presence in my life is what is helping today. Your everyday counseling on good character, having empathy on others and making others feel loved. These inner beauty as you always called them have been a seed sprouting everyday. I can't forget your culinary skills which is where I learnt my cooking ability from. Those moments are gems that are irreparable in my heart.

Yeah, I knew I was not a vocal person then coupled with being a teenager. But after I grew older, I regretted it while allowing timidity to make me hide these words from you. I regretted while I allowed these words to be wishes. I wish everyday that I didn't appreciate your kindness to me, while I didn't express how grateful I was to your support to raise me up from that tender age till your death.

I want you to know that though we can see or hear each other, the indelible mark you instilled in me is still shining bright and I'm not a disgrace but rather an example for others. I want you to know that I remember you in my prayers always and I reflect daily on the beautiful memories we shared.

I want you to know that I wish I can see you again, I wish you could return to this Earth, I wish you could return to make me smile happily. Though I know how impossible this is but I do know that one day, we shall meet to part no more. But until then, I just want you to know that you are deeply in my heart and I love you with all my heart.
