Finalmente me animé a participar en esta iniciativa, muchas gracias a sus creadoras por brindar esta oportunidad de recordar momentos significativos de viajes en familia y compartirlos en nuestra linda comunidad.

En nuestro caso, mi familia y yo por diferentes motivos no hemos tenido la posibilidad de viajar en vacaciones muy seguido, sin embargo, puedo decir que cada vez que hemos tenido la oportunidad de hacerlo hemos disfrutado muchísimo, y en lo personal, yo amo especialmente los viajes a la playa.

Nosotros somos de la ciudad de Barquisimeto, aquí en Venezuela, y recuerdo que en nuestro último viaje en vacaciones fuimos dentro del país a la hermosa Isla de Margarita. En total viajamos 6 personas: mi mamá, mi hermano, una tía, dos primos y yo. Cabe destacar, que como mi hermano estaba aún pequeño, entre mi mamá y yo nos distribuimos las responsabilidades; ella se encargó de comprar los boletos y coordinar otros aspectos importantes con mi tía, y yo tuve la responsabilidad de preparar las maletas con todo lo que hiciera falta.

El día del viaje, recuerdo que el vuelo se retrasó, tuvimos que esperar varias horas en el aeropuerto y terminamos llegando de noche a Margarita, pero de resto todo salió muy bien. Fue un viaje de una semana lleno de días de relajación en la playa, compras, visitas al centro comercial "La Vela" y además, vivimos una experiencia inolvidable en el parque acuático "Waterland" gracias a la jefa de mi mamá que nos obsequió entradas para nadar con delfines.

La experiencia fue guiada por 2 instructores y se dividió en 4 partes: 1) Nos presentaron a los delfines y nos dieron la oportunidad de acariciarlos por primera vez. 2) Nos enseñaron a hacer que los delfines saludaran, para eso teníamos que subir los brazos y mover las manos. 3) Por turnos, nos acercamos de manera individual a los delfines para que nos dieran un recorrido alrededor del estanque a toda velocidad. 4) El momento de la icónica foto dándole un beso a un delfin, o recibiendo un beso de ellos en la mejilla.

Definitivamente fue un viaje memorable, fue en el 2014 y lo recuerdo con mucho cariño. Desde ese entonces no hemos tenido la oportunidad de viajar nuevamente en vacaciones, pero definitivamente apenas pueda quiero volver a ir a Margarita, es una isla realmente hermosa.

Finalmente, me gustaría reconocer la gran labor de organización y logística que realizan las mujeres en los viajes familiares. En este caso, quién tuvo mayor cantidad de responsabilidades en el viaje fue mi mamá, y tal como ella, muchas mujeres y madres alrededor del mundo asumen ese rol de liderazgo, sin importar lo agotador y estresante que puede ser. Es impresionante la manera en que logran estar pendientes hasta del más mínimo detalle, logrando planificar y hacer realidad viajes de en sueño para toda la familia. Son realmente dignas de admirar 💜

I finally decided to participate in this initiative, thank you very much to its creators for providing this opportunity to remember significant moments of family travel and share them in our beautiful community.

In our case, my family and I for different reasons have not had the opportunity to travel on vacation very often, however, I can say that every time we have had the opportunity to do so we have enjoyed it very much, and personally, I especially love trips to the beach.

We are from the city of Barquisimeto, here in Venezuela, and I remember that on our last vacation trip we went within the country to the beautiful island of Margarita. In total we traveled 6 people: my mother, my brother, an aunt, two cousins ​​and me. It should be noted that since my brother was still small, between my mother and I we distributed the responsibilities; she was in charge of buying the tickets and coordinating other important aspects with my aunt, and I had the responsibility of preparing the suitcases with everything that was necessary.

On the day of the trip, I remember that the flight was delayed, we had to wait several hours at the airport and we ended up arriving at night to Margarita, but everything else went very well. It was a week-long trip full of relaxing days on the beach, shopping, visits to a shopping center called "La Vela", and also we lived an unforgettable experience in a water park called "Waterland" thanks to my mother's boss, who gave us tickets to swim with dolphins.

The experience was guided by 2 instructors and divided into 4 parts: 1) We were introduced to the dolphins and given the opportunity to pet them for the first time. 2) They taught us to make the dolphins say hello, for that we had to raise our arms and move our hands. 3) In turns, we individually approached the dolphins to give us a run around the pond at full speed. 4) The moment of the iconic photo giving a kiss to a dolphin, or receiving a kiss from them on the cheek.

It was definitely a memorable trip, it was in 2014 and I remember it very fondly. Since then we haven't had the opportunity to travel again on vacation, but I definitely want to go back to Margarita as soon as I can, it's a really beautiful island.

Finally, I would like to acknowledge the great organizational and logistical work that women do on family trips. In this case, the one who had the most responsibilities on the trip was my mom, and just like her, many women and mothers around the world take on that leadership role, no matter how exhausting and stressful it can be. The way in which they manage to pay attention to even the smallest detail is impressive, managing to plan and make dream trips come true for the whole family. They are really worth admiring 💜
