¡Feliz viernes! Hoy estoy muy feliz de poder compartir una vez más una nueva entrada al concurso semanal de la comunidad Ladies of Hive, donde cada semana nos presentan un par de preguntas diferentes, esta semana en particular trata de temas muy interesantes, hablar de nuestras pasiones y emprendimientos es sin duda algo que no puedo dejar pasar, así que hoy les hablaré un poco sobre estos temas, como siempre espero que sea de su agrado, sin más, ¡comencemos!

Tener una pasión por algo es hacer algo con verdadero amor, hacer lo que realmente amas y disfrutar hacerlo, algo que se hace con pasión jamás puede aburrirnos o cansarnos, cuando realmente hacemos algo que amamos lo hacemos con tal pasión que se convierte en lo más importante de nuestras vidas, no necesariamente debe tratarse de algo que hemos hecho desde niños, a veces podemos desarrollar pasión en algo que acabamos de descubrir siempre y cuando nos genere felicidad, nunca es tarde para aprender algo nuevo y lo mismo sucede cuando desarrollamos una pasión por algo.
Existen muchas actividades por las cuales podemos llegar a desarrollar pasión, a veces puede ser mas de una y no está mal, en mi caso considero que tengo más de una pasión, pero, siempre habrá una que me guste mas que la otra aunque disfrute mucho de ambas actividades.
Mi pasión más grande, que ha estado presente en mi vida desde siempre y la que considero más importante es hacer manualidades, es algo que vengo haciendo desde niña ya que me gustaba mucho y siempre llamó mi atención, sin embargo, nunca fue algo que hacia por pasión sino más bien por diversión, para mi era una forma de desahogarme creando detalles en foami, nunca fue más que una actividad a la que recurría para ocuparme en algo, distraer mi mente en algo productivo y divertirme con algo que me gustaba.
Having a passion for something is doing something with true love, doing what you really love and enjoying doing it, something that is done with passion can never bore us or tire us, when we really do something we love we do it with such passion that it becomes the most important part of our lives, it should not necessarily be something we have done since we were children, sometimes we can develop passion in something that we have just discovered as long as it makes us happy, it is never too late to learn something new and the same thing happens when we develop a passion for something.
There are many activities for which we can develop passion, sometimes it can be more than one and it is not bad, in my case I consider that I have more than one passion, but there will always be one that I like more than the other even if I enjoy it a lot of both activities.
My greatest passion, which has always been present in my life and the one I consider the most important, is to do crafts, it is something I have been doing since I was a child since I liked it a lot and it always caught my attention, however, it was never something I did out of passion but rather for fun, for me it was a way to let off steam creating details in foami, it was never more than an activity that I resorted to to occupy myself with something, distract my mind in something productive and have fun with something that I liked.
Aunque siempre me gustó hacer manualidades no fue sino hasta hace 2 años aproximadamente que comencé a tomarle un poco más de gusto, con la llegada de la pandemia, el encierro en casa, con tanto tiempo libre y sin nada que hacer sentí muchas ganas de aprender más sobre manualidades y hacerlo de manera más frecuente, con ayuda de tutoriales de internet, videos e ideas comencé a trabajar en mejorar lo poco que sabía, aprender cosas nuevas y la verdad estaba muy feliz de hacer eso, realmente lo estaba disfrutando, a tal punto que me sentía capaz de poder compartir mis creaciones con el mundo y una forma de hacerlo fue vendiendo toppers, en ese entonces estaba cerca la festividad del día del padre y entre tantas ideas hice una variedad de toppers de diferentes modelos, para mi sorpresa a las personas les gustó y mucho, vendí muchas manualidades y eso me hizo sentir feliz de lo que hacía, sentí que había encontrado finalmente algo que lo que era realmente buena.
Although I always liked doing crafts, it wasn't until about 2 years ago that I began to like it a little more, with the arrival of the pandemic, the confinement at home, with so much free time and nothing to do, I really wanted to learn more about crafts and doing it more frequently, with the help of internet tutorials, videos and ideas I started working on improving what little I knew, learning new things and the truth is I was very happy to do that, I was really enjoying it, to such an extent point that I felt capable of being able to share my creations with the world and one way of doing it was selling toppers, at that time Father's Day was near and among so many ideas I made a variety of toppers of different models, to my surprise people liked it a lot, I sold a lot of crafts and that made me feel happy about what I was doing, I felt that I had finally found something that I was really good at.
Tiempo después me uní a Hive y gracias a eso me sentí aun mas motivada en aprender y a su vez compartir con todos mi pasión, eso que tanto amo y disfruto hacer, admito que al principio fue muy dificil, no estaba acostumbrada a hacer tutoriales, pues, siempre los había visto pero no hecho yo misma, a aveces era una locura, un completo estres tener que ir haciendo todo paso por paso a la vez que debia tomar las fotografias, luego ordenarlas y explicar todo el procedimiento, para mi fue un gran reto que muchas veces consideré abandonar, creí que no sería buena con los tutoriales, me complicaba un montón con eso pero poco a poco me fui adaptando a ese proceso, se habia convertido en parte de mi pasión por hacer manualidades, y no podia dejarlo así nada más.
Mis tutoriales fueron muy bien recibidos aqui en Hive, lo que me emocionaba mucho y me motivaba cada día más a seguir creando contenido de este tipo, recibí mucho apoyo y buenas críticas de mi trabajo con las manualidades y les puedo asegurar que más feliz no podía estar, combinar mi creación de manualidades con Hive fue de las mejores cosas que he hecho, son dos cosas que amo hacer.
Time later I joined Hive and thanks to that I felt even more motivated to learn and in turn share my passion with everyone, that which I love and enjoy doing so much, I admit that at first it was very difficult, I was not used to doing tutorials, well , I had always seen them but not done it myself, sometimes it was crazy, a complete stress having to do everything step by step at the same time that I had to take the photographs, then order them and explain the whole procedure, for me it was a great challenge that many times I considered abandoning, I thought I would not be good with the tutorials, it complicated me a lot with that but little by little I adapted to that process, it had become part of my passion for making crafts, and I could not leave it like that nothing more.
My tutorials were very well received here on Hive, which excited me a lot and motivated me more every day to continue creating content of this type, I received a lot of support and good reviews of my work with the crafts and I can assure you that I couldn't be happier being, combining my creation of crafts with Hive was one of the best things I've ever done, they're two things I love to do.
Conseguí mi verdadera pasión gracias a la pandemia y la fortalecí gracias a Hive, durante un tiempo me dediqué unicamente a crear manualidades y compartir los tutoriales en Hive, a diario buscaba ideas para inspirarme y siempre se me ocurría algo, mi época favorita de creación de manualiades fue el pasado diciembre y no solo por las festividades de navidad sino también porque hice muchas cositas lindas para decorar el arbol y otras para obsequiar a personas especiales, amé esa época donde hice muchas manualidades navideñas que pude notar que a todos les gustaron.
I got my true passion thanks to the pandemic and I strengthened it thanks to Hive, for a while I dedicated myself only to creating crafts and sharing the tutorials on Hive, every day I was looking for ideas to inspire me and something always came to mind, my favorite time of creating crafts was last December and not only because of the Christmas festivities but also because I made many cute things to decorate the tree and others to give to special people, I loved that time when I made many Christmas crafts that I could see that everyone liked them.
Tal vez para muchos hacer manualidades sea solo recortar y pegar, pero es mucho más que eso, requiere de mucho trabajo y dedicación lograr hacer las manualidades como las queremos y se los digo yo que muchas veces a mí misma no me gustaba lo que hacía, llegué a considerar "feas" mis manualidades, me desmotivaba mucho pero solo bastó con tener un poco de confianza para mostrarlas al mundo y descubrir que no era tan malo como yo lo veía, a veces solo necesitamos tener un poco de confianza en nosotros mismos y en lo que hacemos, no hay opinión mas importante sobre nosotros que la propia nuestra.
Perhaps for many, making crafts is just cutting and pasting, but it is much more than that, it requires a lot of work and dedication to be able to do the crafts as we want them and I tell you that many times I myself did not like what I did, I came to consider my crafts "ugly", it discouraged me a lot but it was only enough to have a little confidence to show them to the world and discover that it was not as bad as I saw it, sometimes we just need to have a little confidence in ourselves and In what we do, there is no more important opinion about us than our own.
La segunda actividad que considero como una pasión pero no tanto como la primera es la fotografía, desde hace años he sido aficionada a la fotografía, es una actividad que aunque no hago de manera profesional la disfruto mucho, me gusta tomarle fotos a todo, incluso a lo más simple, soy de las que le sacan fotos a la comida pero no por presumir, sino porque me gusta tomar fotos, para mi una fotografía es la mejor manera de capturar un momento y plasmarlo en una imagen que podemos conservar y recordar ese momento especifico al ver esta imagen. Durante años me he dedicado a tomar fotografias de paisajes, animales, atardeceres, plantas, flores y siempre he intentado hacerlo de la manera para perfecta posible, nunca he tomado un curso ni nada relacionado con la fotografía, siempre lo he hecho por mis propios medios y lo hago de acuerdo a mis propios criterios. Tomar fotografías no es nada mas presionar un boton para captar una imagen, va mucho más allá de eso e implica tener mucha práctica, me gusta jugar con los ángulos, la lu natural, y esos detalles que por mas pequeños que parezcan hacen una gran diferencia a la hora de tomar una fotografía y eso tambien incluye la estética.
The second activity that I consider to be a passion but not as much as the first is photography. For years I have been fond of photography. It is an activity that, although I do not do it professionally, I enjoy it a lot. I like to take pictures of everything, even At the simplest, I am one of those who take photos of food but not to show off, but because I like to take photos, for me a photograph is the best way to capture a moment and translate it into an image that we can preserve and remember that specific moment when viewing this image. For years I have dedicated myself to taking pictures of landscapes, animals, sunsets, plants, flowers and I have always tried to do it in the perfect way possible, I have never taken a course or anything related to photography, I have always done it by myself and I do it according to my own criteria. Taking pictures is not just pressing a button to capture an image, it goes far beyond that and involves a lot of practice, I like to play with the angles, the natural light, and those details that, no matter how small they seem, make a big difference. when taking a photograph and that also includes aesthetics.
Siempre he querido adquirir una cámara profesional para mis fotografías, pero, mientras tanto lo hago con la única herramienta que tengo en mis manos, mi celular, un verdadero aliado para este pasatiempo recurrente de mi vida, hace poco más de un año compre un celular nuevo y me enfoqué más en la calidad de la cámara y capacidad de almacenamiento que en cualquier otra característica, fue una muy buena adquisición ya que con el puedo tomar unas fotografías increíbles con una gran calidad y eso es en lo que más me fijo de una fotografía.
Tengo planeado en algún momento comprar una cámara profesional cuando tenga la oportunidad, sin duda es algo que deseo mucho y espero poder lograrlo, de ser así me convertiría en la persona más feliz del mundo por lograr una nueva meta y hacer eso que tanto amo de una manera más profesional.
I have always wanted to acquire a professional camera for my photographs, but in the meantime I do it with the only tool I have in my hands, my cell phone, a true ally for this recurring pastime of my life, a little over a year ago I bought a cell phone new and I focused more on the quality of the camera and storage capacity than on any other feature, it was a very good acquisition since with it I can take incredible photographs with great quality and that is what I pay most attention to Photography.
I have planned at some point to buy a professional camera when I have the opportunity, without a doubt it is something that I want very much and I hope to be able to achieve it, if so, I would become the happiest person in the world for achieving a new goal and doing what I love so much about a more professional way.

Me considero una persona muy activa y creativa, siempre estoy en constante aprendizaje de esas cosas que puedan mejorar mi vida y las que les pueda sacar provecho, como dicen por allí "de hambre no te vas a morir" porque la verdad es que siempre estoy haciendo de todo, lo que sea y más aún si se trata de generar ingresos, no me da pena tener que vender algo ni tampoco tener que hacerlo yo misma, no me siento de brazos cruzados a esperar que la vida se me resuelva sola ni que venga alguien más a hacerlo, me considero una mujer muy capaz de salir adelante por mis propios medios.
Desde que soy mayor de edad me he dedicado a muchas cosas para poder generar un ingreso extra, comencé hace años vendiendo con mi pareja audífonos, tarjetas de memoria, cables USB y adaptadores de memoria, al notar lo bien que nos fue invertí en bisutería y maquillaje, lo cual fue una gran idea porque realmente me fue muy bien y quería seguir, pero, al mudarme a la ciudad dejé de hacerlo por un tiempo mientras me adaptaba a este nuevo lugar y esa nueva vida.
Tiempo después decidí crear mi propio emprendimiento sobre bisutería y maquillaje basado en mi previa experiencia en esa área, invertí dinero en suficiente mercancía e inicié mi pequeño "negocio" de manera online, pues, gracias a las redes sociales hoy en día rentar un local no es la única opción para poder vender cualquier artículo. Cree mi propia cuenta de instagram para mi emprendimiento, la cual llamé Marys Glam Store, mi pareja @derppunk me ayudó a crear un lindo logo para mi página que me encantó y solo restaba añadir una descripción.
I consider myself a very active and creative person, I am always constantly learning about those things that can improve my life and those that can take advantage of them, as they say "you won't die of hunger" because the truth is that I am always doing everything, whatever it is, and even more so when it comes to generating income, I'm not ashamed of having to sell something or having to do it myself, I don't sit idly by waiting for life to resolve itself or Come someone else to do it, I consider myself a woman very capable of getting ahead by my own means.
Since I am of legal age I have dedicated myself to many things to be able to generate an extra income, I started years ago selling hearing aids, memory cards, USB cables and memory adapters with my partner, when I noticed how well it went, I invested in costume jewelry and makeup, which was a great idea because it really went very well for me and I wanted to continue, but when I moved to the city I stopped doing it for a while while I adjusted to this new place and this new life.
Time later I decided to create my own jewelry and makeup business based on my previous experience in that area, I invested money in enough merchandise and started my small "business" online, well, thanks to social networks nowadays renting a place is not It is the only option to be able to sell any item. I created my own instagram account for my business, which I called Marys Glam Store, my partner @derppunk helped me create a nice logo for my page that I loved and it only remained to add a description.
Como ya les mencioné soy fanática de la fotografía y sin duda debía aplicar mis conocimientos para sacar unas buenas fotos de todos los productos, quería que todo fuera perfecto, que las fotos fueran hermosas y tuvieran un buen fondo, entre tantas pruebas finalmente me decidí por usar como fondo unas plantas de hojas coloridas, me encantaba como quedaban.
As I already mentioned, I am a fan of photography and without a doubt I had to apply my knowledge to take good photos of all the products, I wanted everything to be perfect, for the photos to be beautiful and have a good background, among so many tests I finally decided on use plants with colorful leaves as a background, I loved how they turned out.
Me fue muy bien al principio pero poco después llegó la pandemia y con ella todo se fue abajo, incluyendo mi pequeño emprendimiento, era muy difícil salir a entregar los productos con todo este problema de la pandemia al cual yo también le temía, pues, no quería enfermarme, en vista de las ventas tan bajas o casi nulas decidí tomar una pausa mientras la situación se calmaba un poco y así han transcurrido casi 2 años y aún no he retomado mi emprendimiento, es más por falta de tiempo que de otra cosa, siempre he tenido ganas de volver a invertir en productos para reactivar mi página de Instagram, lo cual hasta ahora no ha sido posible, sin embargo, durante el tiempo que estuve realizando las ventas por ese medio me fue muy bien, recibí mucho apoyo de amigos y familiares, me recomendaban, me hacían mucha publicidad y eso era bastante gratificante.
It went very well at first but shortly after the pandemic came and with it everything went downhill, including my small business, it was very difficult to go out and deliver the products with all this problem of the pandemic which I was also afraid of, well, no I wanted to get sick, in view of the low or almost zero sales I decided to take a break while the situation calmed down a bit and so almost 2 years have passed and I still haven't resumed my business, it's more due to lack of time than anything else, I have always wanted to invest again in products to reactivate my Instagram page, which until now has not been possible, however, during the time that I was making sales through that medium, it went very well, I received a lot of support from friends and relatives, they recommended me, they gave me a lot of publicity and that was quite gratifying.
