Pero va más allá de las especies y de su comida. Hay una energía que me resulta familiar con su cultura y sus tradiciones. El colorido de sus ropas es algo que me fascina también..

De hecho, cuando decidí estudiar inglés fuera de mi país, escogí Trinidad y Tobago, por su cercanía con Venezuela, pero me encontré con un pedazo de la India que terminó de cautivarme en mi idea de poder conocer esa zona del planeta..

Aunque soy católica, el budismo tiene cosas que he tomado para poner en práctica en mi vida. .

Conocer sus monumentos majestuosos, probar de primera mano su comida, es todo un reto para mi..

También, me gustaría poder ser partícipe de las misiones que ayudan a los necesitados de ese lugar, en el que la pobreza es demasiada..

Uno de los lugares específicos que quisiera visitar es donde queda un monumento enorme de Buda, que en un ritual es bañado con leche y va cambiando de colores. Lo conocí por medio de un amigo trinitario y con ver el video quedé fascinada..

Con la rutina diaria, ese anhelo había quedado en el fondo de mis pensamientos, y hoy se ha vuelto a avivar la llama que me indica que debo ir a ese lugar en algún momento antes de partir..
