El pasado martes 28 de Septiembre se realizó la marcha llamada la ruta verde, con el fin de llegar a la Asamblea Nacional donde se hizo entrega de un comunicado con exigencias y propuestas. Esta marcha se realizó a nivel mundial a favor del aborto legal y seguro. En Venezuela el aborto es ilegal, sólo es permitido cuando la gestante corre algún riesgo de muerte, un impedimento que incrementa los números de abortos clandestinos en el país.
Last Tuesday, September 28, the march called the green route was held in order to reach the National Assembly where a statement was delivered with demands and proposals. This march was held worldwide in favor of legal and safe abortion. In Venezuela abortion is illegal, it is only allowed when the pregnant woman runs some risk of death, an impediment that increases the number of clandestine abortions in the country.
Sé que este es un tema que causa mucha polémica, pero como digo yo, muchas personas tienen sus razones para apoyar esta causa. Yo en particular apoyo el aborto debido a tres razones:
Primeramente por violación: Lastimosamente muchas niñas, adolescentes y mujeres deben cargar con un ser que es producto a una violación. Para muchas es una marcha de mal que se les hizo y ese ser humano que va creciendo en muchos casos es criado sin amor debido a como fue procreado. En los casos de las niñas embarazadas por violación no saben cómo criar a un niño y no entienden la situación.
Por riesgo de vida y salud: Aquí les pongo un ejemplo, En lo personal conocí a una mujer que tristemente tuvo la difícil situación de presenciar a su hijo morir, pues la pobre mujer se enteró que su hijo no tenía cerebro. Tuvo que esperar a que su hijo muriera ya que si ella se realizaba el aborto, sería arrestada.
Por inviabilidad fetal extrauterina: Es cuando ocurre el embarazo fuera del útero.
I know this is an issue that causes a lot of controversy, but as I say, many people have their reasons to support this cause. I particularly support abortion for three reasons:
Firstly by rape: Unfortunately many girls, adolescents and women must carry a being that is the product of rape. For many it is an evil march that was done to them and that human being that is growing in many cases is raised without love because of how he was procreated. In the cases of girls pregnant by rape, they do not know how to raise a child and they do not understand the situation.
Due to the risk of life and health: Here is an example. Personally, I met a woman who sadly had the difficult situation of witnessing her son die, because the poor woman found out that her son had no brain. She had to wait for her child to die because if she had the abortion, she would be arrested.
Due to extrauterine fetal infeasibility: It is when pregnancy occurs outside the uterus.
Y por estas razones me uní a la marcha. Mi amiga llevó a su hija Paula la cual fue en centro de atención debido a su dinamismo en la marcha jeje. Muchas personas nos miraban feo o nos insultaban pero cada quien tiene sus razones. En lo personal las mujeres deberían ser quienes decidan qué hacer con su cuerpo ya que hay muchas mujeres empobrecidas, las cuales son las que ponen en riesgo su salud y son las que mueren por abortos mal practicados.
And for these reasons I joined the march. My friend took her daughter Paula, who was the center of attention due to her dynamism in the march, hehe. Many people looked at us ugly or insulted us but everyone has their reasons for it. On a personal level, women should be the ones who decide what to do with their body since there are many impoverished women, who are the ones who put their health at risk and who die from poorly performed abortions.
El aborto inseguro es un gran problema de salud pública. Las personas que cuentan con buenos ingresos económicos son las que pueden realizar abortos en clínicas privadas las cuales les brindan condiciones seguras y con personas calificadas en el tema de la salud.
Unsafe abortion is a huge public health problem. People who have good economic income are those who can perform abortions in private clinics which provide them with safe conditions and with qualified people in the field of health.
Después de marchar y entregar el documento con las exigencias nos dirigimos hacia otra actividad a favor de esta causa donde diferentes organizaciones, movimientos e individualidades feministas defensoras de los derechos humanos de las mujeres unimos nuestras voces. Nos correspondió dar inicio a la actividad con un grupo de danza proveniente de nuestro movimiento llamado “Movimiento mujeres por la vida”, después de eso fue mi turno en inicial una “Mística” la cual consistía en leer un relato de la vida real sobre una joven que era violada por su padre, después de leer dicho relato encendí una vela en nombre de aquella joven, y así fuimos buscando más mujeres que quisieran leer una historia o contarnos sus experiencias y por cada historia contada se encendería una vela.
After marching and delivering the document with the demands, we headed towards another activity in favor of this cause where different feminist organizations, movements and individualities defending the human rights of women unite our voices. It was our turn to start the activity with a dance group from our movement called "Women for Life Movement", after that it was my turn to start a "Mystique" which consisted of reading a real life story about a woman. A young woman who was raped by her father, after reading that story I lit a candle in the name of that young woman, and so we were looking for more women who wanted to read a story or tell us about their experiences and for each story told a candle would be lit.
Para mí fue una bella experiencia compartir con muchas mujeres luchando por la misma causa, luchar por el derecho a decidir y no descansar hasta lograr alcanzarlo.
It was a beautiful experience for me to share with many women fighting for the same cause, to fight for the right to decide and not rest until I achieve it.
