A reputation 52 friend says that she no longer wants to be active in Hive, claiming that she can't make the time, the coin is so low valued, and only a few people ever read her posts. What could you do to encourage and help her to keep trying? Writing tips? Time
Welcome to my blog, everyone. Hope you-all are having a great weekend. You know when we don't feel appreciated for our efforts or when the benefits we get don't match the amount of effort we put into a project or task, we start to lose faith, become disheartened, or even give up. It's common to have periods of uncertainty and despair while writing since it's a skill that demands patience and perseverance.
I'll use myself as an example. When I first started writing on Hive a few months ago, my pay out was typically very low. Imagine straining your brain to write a complete article and edit it, only to have the payout come out in cents, and even Hive was not up to a dollar because the market was bearish. Since I was so discouraged I did give up. After consulting with others, I returned in full to my writing.
Here are the things that kept me going;
I've discovered recently that the more high-quality information you produce, the more visible and curatable your article is for others to upvote. When I refer to a "quality post," I mean one with a word count of 500 words or more and useful material.
Another is to make an effort to publish at least once every day, if not more.
Remind yourself of the initial motivation for your writing. What made you passionate about it? What did you want to accomplish? When you're feeling disheartened, recall that original spark. Make sure you are receiving payments every day for every post you published seven days ago, even if you don't get many up votes or considerable gain. The secret is consistency.Making a regular writing schedule might also keep you motivated and on track. You'll benefit from engaging in more conversations and contests. You and your article will become more visible if you engage with other hivers more often by commenting, and supporting others.
As a last reminder, keep in mind that writing is a journey with its own highs and lows. Every writer has to deal with rejection, self-doubt, and low points. The secret is to persevere, remain strong, and never give up on your passion.
Thanks for reading anyways.
Have a blissful weekend.*
