Hello, dear Hiveblog community, I hope you are well, today I bring you one of my creations, a dormilona set, with blouse without elastic at the hip and headband.
For this we will use the following materials: blouse pattern, blouson pattern, decorative elastic, thread, measuring tape, pins, scissors, hand sewing needle, 75 cm long cotton fabric, 1.50 cm wide.
We place our fabric by its width on the back side, we adjust with the pins the pattern of the flannel on the front side, placing the pattern fold with the fabric fold, we extend 15 cm long with the help of the tape measure, we cut along the length and along the side, armhole up to the neckline.

We place the fabric again in doubles, we place the pattern on the part of the line identified as the back, using the pins, we do the same procedure as we did with the front and proceed to cut.
We use the same technique to cut the blouson at the front and at the hip.
We proceed to baste the sleeper and the bluber on the sides.
In this photo we visualize: the basteada already basteada, at the height of the armhole is a piece of fabric with a fold of 5 and ½ cm wide by 45 cm long. The blouse that is also basteado above, is another piece of fabric that is the waistband cut to a fold of 4.5 cm wide by 70 cm long, above this we have two strips cut on the bias for the straps of the sleeper and one cut to 30 cm long by 2 ½ cm wide for the back edge of the back.
The two bias strips are sewn together by gluing them to both sides of the 30 cm strip that goes on the back edge of the back.
Once everything is basted, we pass it through the sewing system with our sewing machine. We sew in a zigzag pattern, preferably the smaller one, our decorative elastic elongating it to 2 cm in length.
Once the elastic has been glued, we repeat it in zigzag, we sew through the baste of the batiste, from there we proceed to glue basteing the edge of the back and the armhole for the straps, and then we sew straight stitching.
We sew the sides of the blouson, a small fold is made at the crotch and a straight seam is sewn. The waistband is sewn with a straight seam, it is also stretched to 2 cm long.
The ribbon for the headband is placed on the reverse side, sewn in a straight seam, then it is turned to the right side, wadding is inserted, it is closed at the ends, making a tie in the form of a bow in the middle, placing a piece of elastic 7 cm long.
The patterns were taken from the magazine Grupo Editorial Piedad Valencia, I used needle No. 9 for the sewing machine.
