Introduction
But what would happen if you put them together?
This is to showcase how strong combining Fire and Death is especially in Silenced Summoner Rule of Combat.
Dolfar Darflak is a common summoner from Rebellion series. He's not particularly strong but his Dual Element nature makes up for it.
This was an accidental find when I was conceptualizing. I actually want to find a good summoner compatible with Silent Sha-Vi when I realized that there's a summoner with fire element as well. This was actually strong and fairly cheap to make as this lineup doesn't use any legendary monsters and may be good in Lost Legendaries rule of combat as well for the said reason.
Pros
- Cheap to build. Since this build only uses Common, Rare and Epic monsters, this is cheaper to build than other builds.
- The monsters are inherently strong. Almost all of the monsters already has 2 base damage and decent speed making this build very strong regardless of the presence of Inspire ability.
- Flexible in terms of monsters. If some Sneak monsters are unavailable, you can mix in Opportunity as well.
Cons
- High number of Melee damage. When a build relies on single damage type, that also makes the higher risk when an opponent uses an ability against it. One Demoralize will hinder this build by a lot.
- Reliant to Abilities.Sneak is a major component of this build and rules of combat such as Fog of War or Back to Basics kills this build.
- Armor can hinder a lot.Melee and range damage does not pass through armor and can delay the opponent's death a lot. This build also don't have Double Strike so having any armor on an enemy means they are required to be attacked at least twice for the kill.
Silenced Summoners |
During this battle, all summoner abilities are disabled: Dolfar Darflak does not have any abilities and Silenced Summoners does not stop the use of monsters from multiple splinters as well making this the best rule of combat to use this Sneaky Build.
Lost Legendaries |
During this battle, Legendary monsters are not allowed: Like I said, this build doesn't use Legendary monsters so this rule does not affect this build. However, Lost Legendaries may have significant effect on my opponent's builds.
Unprotected |
All armor and effects that involve armor are disabled during this battle: With no abilities allowed, almost all of my monsters cannot attack from the rear. This build relies on Sneak ability and removing the Sneak means killing the build itself. |
Weak Magic |
Monsters on the board can use their armor to block an opponent's magic damage. This has the same effect as Void Armor: This may come as a surprise since this build has no magic damage. But this makes this build more vulnerable. When there's no magic damage involved, I normally add Demoralize and Headwinds to my builds and if my opponent did what I does, then this build will be affected by that counter strategy.
Armored Up |
All monsters gain +2 armor for this battle: Since this build only uses Range and Melee damage, having armor means more attacks required to kill my opponent's monsters.
Back to Basics |
During this battle, all monster's abilities are disabled: Dolfar Darflak does not have any abilities and Silenced Summoners does not stop the use of monsters from multiple splinters as well making this the best rule of combat to use this Sneaky Build. |
Silent Sha-Vi |
Silent Sha-Vi is the best Sneak monster on the game for low level Modern Ranked. The reason is that at level 3, he gets an extra damage. That extra damage is strong on a game where low level monsters mean low health as well.
Tenyii Striker |
Tenyii Striker is the second best due to his speed. The more levels he has, the faster he is allowing your team to attack faster and hopefully eliminating monsters before they can even act.
Uraeus |
Uraeus is another cheap monster. A level 2 gives you an extra damage and his extra armor makes him a really good Sneak blocker. |
This build is centered around using Sneak monsters to eliminate the opponent's key monsters. Normally, opponents put their important monsters at the back with a good tank in the 1st position to absorb the damage. This build uses that strategy and flips it back to them eliminating the monster in the last position first and the monster in the 1st position last.
Lineup
Dolfar Darflak
A really strong summoner that is flying under the radar. It's a strong summoner that is able to use both Splinters with inherently strong stats in terms of Sneaks.
Cursed Windeku
A good tank with very high health. High health means it's also strong against magic damage despite not having any defensive abilities.
Silent Sha-Vi
Strong monster for low level fights. At level 3 alone, he gets 3 damage and a good 4 speed allowing him to attack first in clutch rounds.
Fenmoor Haunt
I'm amazed to see a 3 mana cost monster with 2 damage and Sneak at the same time. This is only at level 1 so this means it can only get better from here.
Daigendark Hunter
Just like Fenmoor Haunt, he's also strong at level 1 having 3 damage. However, he also gets twice the mana cost balancing the insane innate damage.
Tenyii Striker
One of the strongest Sneak monsters contending against Silent Sha-vi. He has decent health allowing you to use him as a second tank either in front or back.
Uraeus
Even though he has low health, I normally place him on the last position due to his extra armor. He also already have 2 damage at level 2 with only 3 mana cost making him a really strong monster.
My opponent was clearly overwhelmed in this battle by the unxpected full Sneak team. Even though my Uraeus died, it wasn't enough to stop my whole team destroying their lineup in less than 3 rounds.
This build has very good potential. Even I was amazed of how strong it is. Most of the monsters already have 2 damage at level 1 meaning even if you don't level the monsters up, they're already strong. If I get the chance to go on higher league, maybe after thsi school year during vacation, I'll try to get this set up as my main and continue.
The biggest perk, probably is that it's cheaper than most build since the highest tier is Epic. Even the summoner is only Common rarity so you can really make this build quite easily at cheaper price. This makes it a strong build against opponents who like to do a front to back build like tihs battle where they only have one tank at the front.
