Introduction

Another staple in every player's card collection. Not only she's cheap to get but also very useful on certain situations. This card is one of those cards that you MUST have regardless if you're a Life main or not. Just make sure she's always in your back pocket as Venari Crystalsmith is very useful in any situation.

Lore

Banished from Below 1 of 5 - There are many civilizations on the Planet whose existence has always gone unknown in the Splinterlands. Some of them are part of distant continents, with whom the Splinterlands became disconnected centuries ago, long before the great Splintering. Others reside under the deep water of the Outer Ocean, similar to the way merfolk thrive in the Water Splinter of ?ZM?RÉ. Still, when considering all the people of the world, it is always easy to overlook those who dwell under the ground. For a round Planet as large as this one, there is nearly endless three-dimensional space beneath the surface, and much of that space is inhabited.

At the center of the Planet, there is a living core, believed to be made of molten rock. This core engine is the origin of all mana and magical power on and around the Planet. From the core, mana arteries extend upward toward the surface and emerge as mana flows, springs and fountains on every part of the Planet.

Market Price Buy

Venari Crystalsmith's non-foil card cannot be at the lowest right now. At $2.70, you can get a max level of 8, which is good for high level. In addition to that, you can also get a collection power of 2541 for that level 8 card.

If you're on lower level and don't care about getting a high one, you can get one for $0.023. Venari Crystalsmith is a must for Life Element builds as he has tank heal ability to restore the health of your tank and also a range damage for General Sloan's bonus.

Venari Gold Buy.jpg

Since I've been using it more recently, I decided to buy a gold one which averages $1.05 right now. It also gives me extra 10% focus point reward per win for both season and daily chest.

Market Price Rent

Since the purchase cost is low, also is the rental cost. You can rent a max level for 0.66 DEC per day. It's less than a dollar for the rental so you can test it first before buying one.

For 0.29 DEC per day, you can also get the benefit of the purchased one which is an additional 10% reward per win. However, this gold one is only level 2 and good for low level league. Higher level league, it's still better to use higher level cards for stats versus the gold reward.

Stats

Venari Crystalsmith's stats is okay. You don't use her though as a damage dealer or a tank but for her Tank Heals. However, her low mana cost allows her to be used in certain limiting Rules of Combat such as Little League which is a bonus. Her range damage type also is increased by General Sloan. This makes her really good if you regularly uses Life element as your main.

The Gold Foil starts at level 2 giving you an extra speed. This is quite good as you don't want your healer to be the fastest, missing the first heal since your monster won't have any damage to heal, nor be the slowest, which makes you late making your tank dead before you heal them. The speed is just right to fully utilize the tank heal ability.

Abilities

Tank Heal.png

At level 1, Tank Heal is unlocked. Tank Heal recovers the 1/3 of the monster's health, rounded up, in 1st position every round. The higher the max health of the monster the higher the heal is. Strengthen can be used to fully abuse this effect.

Dispel.png

At level 6, Dispel is unlocked. Dispel negates any positive effect the monster has when struck. These effects are those they got from other monsters such as Inspire, Strenghten and Headwind. Internal effects like Shield, Void and such are not affected. To be honest, there's really a few effects that are affected by this ability and most of it are stats enhancing abilities.

Abilities described above are from Splinterland using my account.

Author's Notes Animated.gif

Do you like VENARI CRYSTALSMITH? Why or Why not?

Yes. I like Venari Crystalsmith. She's very efficient and doesn't need to be leveled up to be useful. I suggest adding him in your collection in case you don't have any choice when every element is banned for that game. This card, combined with high health monster such as Shieldbearer, can sometimes give you wins that you never think you can get.

Lineup

Lineup.jpg

Summoner: General Sloan: Gives all of your monsters +1 range damage.

  1. Shieldbearer: Has Taunt Ability. Monsters with Taunt Ability are forced to be targeted by other monsters regardless if possible. He has high health which, works well with Venari Crystalsmith's Tank Heal ability.

  2. Venari Crystalsmith: Has Tank Heal ability allowing you to restore the health of Shieldbearer every round. She also has range damage for General Sloan's bonus.

  3. Pelacor Arbalest: Has Double Strike Ability, which allows him to attack twice per round. He also has range damage for General Sloan's bonus.

  4. Xenith Archer: Low mana 2 cost unit with range damage type for General Sloan's bonus.

Did your strategy worked?

Yes. The Close Range allows my units to become pseudo-melees allowing them to attack from the first position.

What will you try differently next time?

I have no intention of changing any of the lineup as it works well with each other. The only thing I want to improve is I want to have Shieldbearer at level 5 to unlock his next ability, Shield. He taunts everyone, then shields their attacks while Venari Crystalsmith is healing him. That must've been really strong combination.
