However, the Death Splinters can bring a powerful strategy to the table with their ability to pack a punch without relying solely on poison damage.
Revealer may not have the best stats in the game, actually, he's nothing more than just decent but his abilities make him a valuable asset in many situations. In this article, we'll discuss how you can make the most out of these monsters and other strategies to handle Noxious Fumes

Since Waka Spiritblade is a Promo card, that means he has very limited supply which also increases his price. His cheapest buying price right now is $199.

If you cannot afford to spend $200 for a card, then you can rent him for a lower price. He's still quite expensive when compared to other legendary summoners but at least your win rate would increase by a lot. You can rent him currently for 27.26 DEC per day.

Revealer is currently priced a little below $4 for a max level. I found one for $3.68 which is really good if you like magic damage in your team.

If you want to test him first, you can rent him for 1.43 DEC per day, which is very cheap, in my opinion. Lower level will also be lower priced but at that rental price, why not just rent the max level and enjoy the benefits?
Stats | Waka Spiritblade
Waka Spiritblade is a Legendary summoner from the Chaos Legion Series.
Level 4 Legendary summoners allow the use of:
Level 4 Legendary monsters;
Level 6 Epic monsters;
Level 8 Rare monsters;
Level 10 Common monsters.
Waka Spiritblade is the best summoner for Death Splinter if you'll not include the recent Rebellion Dual Summoners, in my opinion. His abilities are quite good although it has its up and down, still.
Poison. [Negative Status] Attacks from this monster can inflict Poisoned Status. Poisoned monsters take 2 damage at the start of each round.
Poison is a strong ability but it's actually not important right now because all of the opponents have poisoned status due to the Noxious Fumes rule of combat.
Stats | Revealer
Revealer's stats are nothing to be praised about. It's decent at most but his abilities are quite good and counters a lot of both different rules of combat and abilities. He's honestly one of those monsters that you need in certain circumstances.
At level 1, Stun is unlocked. [Negative Status] Monsters attacked by this monster has a chance to get Stunned status. Stunned Monsters have their next turn skipped. All abilities that activate at the start of that monster's turn are also disabled for that round.
I am not sure if they tweaked it or if I were just lucky but I feel like Stun ability happens a lot more recently. The ability still says it's 50% but there are battles I've had where it hit three times in consecutive rounds making it a strong ability to have.
At level 4, Immunity is unlocked. [Defense] This monster are unaffected by any [Negative Status].
This is the reason why he is added in this lineup. The Immunity ability is a great counter against status effects. With this ability, Revealer is unaffected by the Poison from Noxious Fumes rule of combat and will not take any damage from it at any case.
At level 6, Reflection Shield is unlocked. [Defense] Any damage from Thorns, Blast, Magic Reflect and/or Return fire are negated and becomes 0.
Reflection Shield counters any form of indirect damage from abilities that is not a status effect. This means the damage from possible Magic Reflect or Blast ability will be negated making him a good monster to be placed in 2nd position.

Waka Spiritblade: Even though Waka Spiritblade's ability will not work in this rule of combat, I still used him due to his level. A summoner at max level with no abilities is much more useful than any other summoner that has a lower level because the monster's level cap depends solely on that summoner's level. At level 4 Waka Spiritblade, I can also use max level monsters in this lineup if I have the monsters available.
- Harklaw: Another Immunity monster. He also has Shield and Demoralize ability making him a good candidate for a tank monster.
- Revealer: I've already said enough about Revealer. He is placed as the 2nd monster in case the opponents have Blast ability that might give problem to my lineup.
- Life Sapper: His Life Leech ability is a good band aid for Noxious Fumes rule of combat. This means that even if he takes 2 damage per round, he gets back 1 every time he attacks.
- Will-O-Wisp: High Health but with Weaken ability. Weaken reduces opponent's max health making them die first before your monsters. Since this monster does not have any attacks, he can also be a target of Zyriel's Weapons Training ability.
- Zyriel: Zyriel's Weapons Training ability gives other passive monsters beside her 3 range damage. She also has Life Leech ability that gives her 2 max health every hit countering the effect of Noxious Fume's Poison.
- Riftwing: Besides being a passive monster, he has Scavenger ability that is very critical on keeping him alive.

Yes. While my two Immunity monsters don't get damage from Poison already giving me crucial advantage, my other monsters are also no slacker countering the damage from Poison on their own ways.

π«π πππ ππππ Waka Spiritblade and Revealer in Noxious Fumes Rules of Combat? πΎππ ππ πΎππ πππ?
Yes. A lot of players don't like this rule of combat because it's very pesky. You need a lot of preparation and very specific monsters to counter this rule of combat. Death Splinters have a lot of monsters that can help with that and as you've seen, can bring high damage to your opponents without relying solely on poison damage.
