In this battle, despite consciously placing myself at a disadvantage, I was still able to emerge victorious in the end thanks to the strength of my team and their compatibility with each other. With the help of Agor Longtail, my team is resilient enough to withstand incoming damage making my team survive.
Because my team possesses good synergy, this enabled them to effectively handle the pressure from my opponent giving me a win at the end.

Quix the Devious is still on the high side but much more affordable than most Legendary summoners. You can buy a max level for around $18 which gives you the flexibility of the Dragon Splinter.

Priced at about 18.77 DE C per day, Quix the Devious is still the cheapest Modern Format Legendary summoner that you can rent up to date.

Agor Longtail is expensive. Period. The max level costs you $85 while a single copy costs you $8.21 which is good enough for a decent leveled rare Chaos Legion summoner.

Since buying Agor Longtail is out of the question, we'll go with renting. Since the price is high, it's still expensive to rent. The average price is around 30 DEC per day but it would be well worth the price if you use him a lot.
Stats | Quix the Devious
Quix the Devious is a Legendary summoner from the Chaos Legion Series.
Level 4 Legendary summoners allow the use of:
Level 4 Legendary monsters;
Level 6 Epic monsters;
Level 8 Rare monsters;
Level 10 Common monsters.
Quix the Devious is a legendary summoner making him great as you only need a few summoners to level him up. His abilities are also good and useful especially if Speed is vital to your strategy.
-1 Range. [Stat Modifier] [Negative Status] All Opponent monsters has their Max Range damage decreased by 1 with a minimum of 1. Any monsters with 1 Range damage before the ability applies are unaffected.
The reduced range damage helps in dealing with opponents with high range damage.
-1 Speed. [Stat Modifier] [Negative Status] All Opponent monsters has their Speed decreased by 1 with a minimum of 1. Any monsters with 1 Speed before the ability applies are unaffected.
This was actually bad in this rule of combat since it only sped up my opponent and benefited them. However, I still did it because of the lineup I have.
Stats | Agor Longtail
Agor Longtail is Chaos Legion's Dragon Splinter tank. He has everything you want a tank to have and can defend you against any damage types. He also has two kind of damage making him very hard to counter.
At level 1, Flying is unlocked. [Defense] Non Flying monsters that attack this card has their maximum hit chance reduced by 25% during that attack.
His Flying ability allows him to evade melee and range attacks to an extent even if the opponent's speed is better than him. This also works in Reverse Speed rule of combat.
At level 1, Taunt is unlocked. [Defense] [Target Modifier] Opponent's monster will be forced to attack this card, if possible.
Best defensive ability in the game. It removes the effect of a lot of attack modifying abilities which makes your team safe as they protect this monster back.
At level 1, Void Armor is unlocked. [Defense] Monsters with Void Armor ability can use their armor to block opponent's magic damage.
Void Armor gives him resistance against magic damage. This also makes him a good choice for Resurrect ability which revives a fallen monster with max armor.
At level 3, Heal is unlocked. [Support] At the start of this monster's turn, restore the its health by 1/3 of its max health.
With high max health, he also gains high amount of restoration. This complements his Void Armor whenever he gets resurrected.

αͺIαEαα
Quix the Devious: Quix the Devious is a bad choice in this rule of combat since his decreased speed for the opponent's team serves only as benefit. However, the level is much more important in this case and I would certainly lose if I use a level 1 summoner with a good ability instead of max level Quix the Devious.
- Agor Longtail: Main Tank of this lineup. He has the damage and the sustain to withstand the onslaught of damage the opponent would try to throw to him.
- Oshuur Constantia: He got Tank Heal and Resurrect abilities, both complements the tank. The Reflection Shield is a bonus in case the opponent has Blast ability or anything tricky.
- Chaos Dragon: He's the main damage of this lineup. His Blast ability and Scattershot makes him very scary to fight against. The combination of Blind and Agor Lontail's Flying ability reduces the opponent's max hit chance to 60% even before applying the Speed difference.
- Naga Assassin: I have extra mana so I added him to the lineup.
