My current battle as Bronze are not as interesting so I decided to dig on my saved battles. This battle was when I were in Gold League and it is very interesting in a sense that this is essentially a battle between who has the better Life Leech monster.

Life Leech really shined on this battle and shows you why this ability is very scary on long fights when properly set up. Life Leech increases the max health when the monster hit while Opportunity ability prioritizes target on the lowest health monsters.

You can say that Life Leech is one of the best counters to use on a rule of combat such as Equal Opportunity.

A level 1 is more affordable than other legendaries sitting at $16.77 but a level 2 costs $49.50 since it requires 3 total cards combined. A level 2 is good enough for Silver and Gold accounts.

A level 1 costs 1.30 DEC per day which is good enough for a Bronze leveled account. A level 2 may cost 10 times of that depending on how late in the season you are renting.

The card is pretty affordable for Bronze and Silver leagues. You can get a level 4 for $1.03. Level 4 unlocks Poison ability which is one of the strongest abilities in the game.

You can rent a level 6 for 0.20 DEC per day. Dirt cheap but requires a decent leveled summoner to be able to use her other abilities.

One of my favorite summoners due to her low mana cost of 3 and being a legendary card. Legendary summoners have easier access ti higher leveled monster even at early levels. She is also one of the cheapest to buy and rent.

Abilities

-1 Melee Damage. All enemy monsters has -1 melee damage with a minimum of 1. Any monster with 1 melee damage before the effect applies are unaffected. This ability has the same effect as Demoralize ability.

Venari Bonesmith has low stats for a 4 mana cost monster but the abilities are super amazing for long fights such as Little League (due to low damage) and Equalizer rules of combat.

Abilities

Life Leech.png

Poisoned status can be removed by either Cleanse ability or by death.

Dispel.png

At level 8, Dspel is unlocked. Monsters with Dispel ability removes an opponent's positive buff when attacked such as Inspire, Headwinds, Last Stand, etc.

Summoner: Camila Sungazer - Good general summoner especially in Super Sneak, Melee Mayhem and Equal Opportunity rules of combat. She counters melee monsters which are exceptional in these rules do to how easy access is to Inspire ability.

  1. Riftwing - Good front line at only 4 mana. Also has Flying ability to evade attacks, Backfire for when he successfully evades an attack and Scavenger to increase health to keep blocking.
  2. Venari Marksrat - Has Martyr ability to boost his allies stats when he dies. Has low health so he is a good bait against enemies with Opportunity abilities.
  3. Wily Coyotian - 2 mana cost monster with an extra armor. The extra armor makes him good enough despite his low stats.
  4. Ravenwood Warden - Has Protect ability to increase all allies armor by 2 as long as he is alive.
  5. Venari Bonesmith - Has Life Leech ability for extended battles. Has Poison ability for the same setup.
  6. Revealer - Has good 2 magic damage and Stun for only 4 mana.

α—ͺIα—ͺ YOα‘Œα–‡ α”•Tα–‡α—©TEGY α—―Oα–‡KEα—ͺ?

Yes. At first, I thought I messed it up due to the placement of Venari Marksrat. Venari Marksrat has low health and is normally a target of Opportunity ability. Increasing the health of the main tank is disadvantageous since in this rule, higher health monsters will be attacked last.

Good thing is that the Life Leech was able to gain huge lead before Venari Bonesmith becomes the main target of my opponent's attack.

α—―α•Όα—©T α—―Iα’ͺα’ͺ YOα‘Œ Tα–‡Y α—ͺIα–΄α–΄Eα–‡Eα‘ŽTα’ͺY α‘ŽEα™T TIα—°E?

My only mistake was the positioning of Venari Marksrat. Placing Venari Marksrat in between my two magic damage monster has better benefits. Not only Martyr will increase their health allowing to be targetted later but the extra damage is better as well especially when most monsters on the board have low damage.

𝑫𝒐 π’šπ’π’– π’π’Šπ’Œπ’†
Venari Bonesmith in Equal Opportunity Rules of Combat
? π‘Ύπ’‰π’š 𝒐𝒓 π‘Ύπ’‰π’š 𝒏𝒐𝒕?

Yes. The strategy is very solid especially if you add Little League into the mix.

Also, you may say that this is a hidden rule but status effects still activates even when blocked. Did you notice that your monster is still affected by Cripple ability even when blocked by Shield or Void?

In the case of Venari Bonesmith, even if your opponent has Void ability and blocks your magic attack, the Poison ability may still apply allowing you to inflict damage on the next turns.
