Now, while this looks amazing on paper, this is not as overpowered as it looks as what the game doesn't tell you is that unlike other stacking abilities like Demoralize or Swiftness, the Amplify ability doesn't.
So, regardless if you have 6 monsters with Amplify and your opponent attack a monster with Thorns, they woulnd't take 8 (2+6) Thorns damage but instead they only get 3, 2 from Thorns and 1 from Amplify.
That is why, I generally don't build around Amplify when there's Up to Eleven rule of combat as it is not as game changing when like, there's Equal Opportunity or Equalizer rules of combat on the board.

The price of Obsidian went down by a lot and is now quite affordable for $0.45 for level 1 up to $48.63 for a level 8.

For the rentals, you can rent a level 1 to avoid the penalty of using starter cards or rent a level 3 which is good enough for Silver.

I saw two good rentals for Failed Summoner, a level 3 for 1.30 DEC per day or 3.19 DEC per day for a level 4. Every increased in level increases the health which allows him to return more damage to your opponent.
Stats | Obsidian
Obsidian is a Rare summoner . from Chaos Legion Series.
Level 2 rare summoners allow the use of:
Level 1 Legendary monsters;
Level 2 Epic monsters;
Level 2 Rare monsters;
Level 3 Common monsters.
Obsidian is good when you build a lot of magic damage as it stacks up really good. The magic damage passes through armor and never misses that gives you a very consistent damage throughout the game.
+1 Magic Damage. Increase all magic damage by 1.
Very strong when partnered with lots of magic damage.
Stats | Failed Summoner
Failed Summoner has decent health initially and ramps up as he levels up. He doesn't have any damage but his health and mana cost is very efficient especially in the higher levels capping at 10 max health for 2 mana on max level.
At level 1, Magic Reflect is unlocked. Returns half of the magic damage back to the attacker.
This damage can be increased by 1 if there's Amplify on your team.
At level 6, Demoralize is unlocked. Gives -1 melee damage to opponent's monsters.
It's a good bonus on your defense. It wouldn't help make this monster survive though.
At level 10, Strengthen is unlocked. Gives +1 max health to all of your monsters.
Instead of the increased max health for his own, he gets Strengthen that has the same effect but affects all of your monsters as long as this monster is alive.

αͺIαEαα
Obsidian: Has an ability that increases magic damage by 1. This affects 4 out of 6 of my monsters.
- Failed Summoner: High health monster with Magic Reflect for a low mana cost of 2.
- Xenith Monk: Secondary tank with Heal. The Heal increases his survivability making him really good in drawn out battles.
- Kron the Undying: Has high health, magic damage and heal. Obsidian is also compatible with him being able to increase his magic damage while serving as a third tank.
- Goblin Psychic: Has Tank Heal and big 2 magic damage, 3 if you take Obsidian's boost. Can restore 1/3 of the health of whoever is in 1st position every round.
- Queen Mycelia: Magic damage monster with Protect ability. The Protect ability adds 2 armor that is used to delay the death of your monsters from any Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity attacks.
- Doctor Blight: Has Camouflage to protect himself from being targetted by attacks and Affliction to remove any health restoration to its target. Doctor Blight has magic damage as well that gets benefit from Obsidian.
αͺIαͺ YOαα αTαα©TEGY α―OαKEαͺ?
Yes but not so much. That's because the opponent tried to play more melee-heavy which makes my Failed Summoner that much effective.
In theory though, Failed Summoner is really strong in Up to Eleven rule of combat. Failed Summoner gets stronger the higher the level due to the amazing abilities he have.

Increased levels. Once you hit higher level, this build makes more sense. For example, Xenith Monk gets Magic Reflect at level 8. This is completely compatible with Amplify but requires higher league and higher in order for you to use the higher levels of the monsters.
π«π πππ ππππ Failed Summoner in Up to Eleven Rules of Combat ? πΎππ ππ πΎππ πππ?
Yes. Even though he doesn't have any attack, he gets an amazing health the more he levels up. At max level, Failed Summoner gets 9 max health and another 1 from Strengthen. Not to mention that this is all for a 2 mana monster that you can add almost in any battles that you get.
