This is one of my saved battles from before. To be honest, Little League is not my cup of tea. I don't like low mana battles and battles that constricts my movements a lot. I really like the high mana cost monsters because they are inherently strong. So, rules of combat like Little League or Rise of the Commons and low mana cost battles are more based on strategy and team coherence rather than having one raid boss that kills everyone.

Thaddius Brood is a Rare Summoner from Chaos Legion. Nothing really special in terms of how much max level can you use but the abilities are a different topic.

_Abilities

-1 Max Health. Decreases all opponent's monster's max health by 1 with a minimum of 1. Any monsters with 1 max health before the effect applies are unaffected. This ability is the same one as Weaken ability.

-1 Magic Damage. Decreases all opponent's monster's magic damage by 1 with a minimum of 1. Any monsters with 1 magic damage before the effect applies are unaffected. This ability is the same one as Silence ability.

Revealer has a very decent stat but this stat is carried by his damage type. I am a bit biased against magic damage simply because of its mechanics that it passes through armor and never misses. So, when a 4 mana cost monster has a 2 magic damage, it's always on a good to strong stat for me regardless of his other stats.

_Abilities

At level 1, Stun is unlocked. Monsters with Stun ability has a chance of inflicting Stunned Status to its target. A stunned monster skips his next turn.

At level 4, Immunity is unlocked. Monsters with immunity cannot be affected by status effects. Some of these are effects caused by Poison and Stun abilities. This is a very good ability in Noxious Fumes rule of combat to avoid the poison damage inflicted to you every round.

At level 6, Reflection Shield is unlocked. Monsters with Reflection Shield are not affected by indirect damages such as damage from Blast, Return Fire, Thorns and Magic Reflect.

Fog of War Rules of Combat. During this battle, Snipe, Sneak and Opportunity abilities are disabled.

Little League Rules of Combat. During this battle, only monsters with 4 mana cost and lower are allowed. Rarity and foil does not matter.

All elements unlocked except for Earth and Dragon Elements. Summoners and Monsters from this element cannot be used during this battle.

Summoner: Thaddius Brood: Good general summoner for Death. Decreases opponent's health and magic damage by 1 with a minimum of 1. The effect is same as Weaken and Silence abilities, respectively.

1. Xenith Monk: At level 2, gains the Heal ability which is super strong on Little League and low mana matches.
2. Riftwing: Not required but at level 5, you can unlock the Backfire ability that allows him to inflict damage to enemies if they miss their attacks. Also has Scavenger ability for gaining health from fallen units and Flying ability that gives extra evasion against non-flying opponents.
3. Revealer: At level 3, gains an extra magic damage to make him actually strong.
4. Ravenwood Warden: At level 1, he already has Protect ability which is good especially when there's Fog of War.
5. Soul Strangler: No abilities but 3 damage at level 4 for 3 mana cost is really strong.
6. Venari Bonesmith: He may be weak at 1 damage but at level 4, gains Poison ability that inflicts 2 damage per round if it inflicts an opponent with Poisoned status. Also has Life Leech ability that allows him to gain health for half his damage when it hits. Life Leech has a minimum of 1 increase but the monster must also inflict a minimum of 1 damage.

ᗪIᗪ YOᑌᖇ ᔕTᖇᗩTEGY ᗯOᖇKEᗪ?

Yes. The combination of magic damage and Thaddius Brood is really strong. Thaddius decreases opponent's health by 1 and magic damage directly damages the health. This means even by using Thaddius Brood alone, it kind of acts like you inflict 1 damage to every enemy's max health at the start of the battle.

Revealer also directly counters Kelya Frendul. Kelya's extra speed does not matter since magic damage never misses. The extra armor is also nonsense since magic damage passes through armor.

ᗯᕼᗩT ᗯIᒪᒪ YOᑌ TᖇY ᗪIᖴᖴEᖇEᑎTᒪY ᑎE᙭T TIᗰE?

In terms of lineup, I think Ialready did a good job. But if I would change something, it would be the positioning of Ravenwood Warden. I would interchange Ravenwood Warden and Venari Bonesmith. This would allow Ravenwood Warden to maximize his Protect ability.

This change, though, will have no effect on the outcome of this battle.

Thaddius Brood and Revealer on Little League rule of combat

? 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒐𝒓 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒏𝒐𝒕?

Yes. Lower mana cost monsters are normally accompanied by low health as well. This is especially true on early levels like Bronze and Silver. So, using Thaddius Brood furthermore abuses that weakness. Revealer has one of the most base magic damage on lower levels that is also 4 mana and below. Void ability and Void Armor ability are also scarce at lower mana for some reason. This is why having Magic damage on Little League is super strong.
