Armored Up is a tricky rule of combat. While it looks harmless, your line up may work with you or against you. However, if you know a few tricks, this is an easy rule of combat that you can abuse and may get easy wins with.

It's 4:26 am and I haven't gotten any sleep yet. I'll save the lore for next time. Instead, check out the full lores using the links below.

A level 4, which is maxed Silver level of this card costs $3.80. But if you like this card, I suggest getting the level 5 at least. It has an extra ability which is extremely useful once you reach Gold level. It costs $5.44.

Revealer's rental price is quite affordable. I rented a level 3 for 0.8 DEC per day. This gives my Revealer an extra damage which is good for a 4 mana card. If you're on Gold, you can rent a level 6 for only 6.44 DEC per day. However, you need a good summoner level to play higher level of this card as well.

I don't suggest buying Magi Necrosi because of its price. A level 1 costs $1.26 and a level 2 immediately jumps up to $5.16. I think buying packs and relying on it is better but if you have good amount of cash, then you can buy it directly.

Magi Necrosi's rental price is weird. In the website marketplace, you can rent a level 2 for 21 DEC per day but I rented a level 3 on the @Peakmonsters for for 5.418 DEC per day. I've rented this like 2 seasons ago and just kept renewing it. Fortunately, the card owner doesn't seem to mind rented it at that price so he doesn't cancel it on me.

I really like Revealer because of his damage to mana cost ratio. For a 4 mana cost card with 2 base magic damage at level 3, he's really strong in my opinion. Not to mention that all of his abilities are really good and game breaking. His abilities can win or lose games for you.

At level 1, Stun is unlocked. A monster with Stun ability can inflict Stunned status to its target. Stunned opponents skip their next turn. This means on the next turn, stunned opponent cannot attack nor use its abilities such as Heal.

At level 4, Immunity is unlocked. Monsters with immunity are unaffected by negative status effects. Normally, you add monsters with immunity in Noxious Fumes rule of combat so it won't be poisoned at any time during that battle. This means this monster won't take 2 damage per round and you can just burn out your opponent from poison damage if played correctly.

At level 6, Reflection Shield is unlocked. Reflection Shield negates any damage from Blast, Thorns, Return Fire or Magic Reflect. Having Revealer with this ability at second position on a Explosive Weaponry rule of combat means you take no damage from any blasts done on your main tank. Same idea when you place it second to the last to block Sneaks from the same rule of combat.

At level 3, Magi Necrosi gets extra damage which is really strong. He has magic damage that passes through armor and doesn't miss, combined with Snipe is very deadly. The low health is protected by the Camouflage ability.
A very balanced card even at early levels.
At level 1, Snipe and Camouflage are unlocked.

Monsters with Snipe ability prioritizes non-melee and monsters that aren't in first position for their target of attack. Magic damage that passes armor, combined with Snipe is a great ability with dealing against support monsters.

Monsters with Camouflage ability are not allowed to be target of attacks unless in first position, however, they are not immune to damage. Blast, Poison and inflict damage to monsters with Camouflage ability without the need of targetting it. Also, Scattershot can inflict damage to the monster as the attack target turns to random.

At level 4., Oppression is unlocked. Monsters with Oppression ability does double damage against targets with no attack types.

Summoner: Thaddius Brood: Death summoner that reduces opponent's health by 1 and magic damage by 1. If the monster's health or magic damage, respectively, are already 1 before the effect, they are unaffected.
- Cursed Windeku: Good tank due to his high health for only 6 mana cost. Also has Thorns that damage enemy melees by 2 per hit.
- Riftwing: One of my favorite tanks. While he doesn't have attack, he's only 4 mana cost with 6 healths. Has Scavenger that gains 1 max health for every monster that die on the board. Backfire inflicts 2 damage to the attacker when they miss and Flying increases evasion against non-flying unit.
- Ravenwood Warden: Has Protect ability to give 2 armor to your team.
- Revealer: Has stun that has a chance of inflicting Stunned status to the opponent. Stunned opponents skip their next turn.
- Venari Bonesmith: Has Life Leech that allows him to gain max health every attack. Poison allows him to inflict Poisoned status to the opponent. Poisoned opponents take 2 damage at the start of their turn.
- Magi Necrosi: Has Snipe that changes target priority to non-melees. Has Camouflage ability that allows him to not be targetted by opponent's attack unless he's in the first position.
αͺIαͺ YOαα αTαα©TEGY α―OαKEαͺ?
Yes. Magic Damage types passes through armor and using this idea allows you to abuse Armored Up. Even if your opponent gets armor, unless they have the Void Armor ability, they can't use the armor gained to block the damage from magic damage types.
This strategy works amazingly and one of the reasons why Obsidian is really strong. However, even if not using Earth element, the high base damage from Death Splinters are enough to deal with unknown enemies.
α―αΌα©T α―Iαͺαͺ YOα TαY αͺIα΄α΄EαEαTαͺY αEαT TIα°E?
For this battle, none. I think the strategy worked very well. I'm also bound by other rules of combat and not only the Armored Up so I need to draft a good team based on all the rules.
There's one change I will do but
π«π πππ ππππ Revealer and Magi Necrosi in Armored Up ? πΎππ ππ πΎππ πππ?
Yes. Both cards are strong in my opinion and is always in my back pocket. They work best in rules of combats where I cannot use melee monsters and/or Sneak abilities, or using melee monsters gives disadvantages such as Briar Patch or Fog of War.
In those rules of combats, I tend to use full magic damage build with Chain Golem as my main tank. Depending on the available elements, the summoner would change from Thaddius Brood to Camila Sungazer or Contessa L'ament. But the rest of the damage will come from magic damage types such as Revealer and Magi Necrosi.
