Dual element summoners are really good in Back to Basics rule of combat because they give you a wide range of monsters to use from two different Splinters. In the case of Prunda Undervesch, I can use both Water and Life monsters, which you can see in this week's battle.

Honestly, I don't suggest buying singles of cards a month or two after their release since the price would likely go down the more packs are opened. It's apparent now with Prunda Undervesch selling for $0.42 for a level 1 an $7.96 for a level 3.
Don't be fooled by the level 3 though because the price is too high because you can get level 3 or 15 cards or $6.30.

For rentals, I found a 2.00 DEC per day for level 3 that is good enough for Bronze. However, there's no level 5 but there's a level 6 for 42.37 DEC per day that you can use for Silver or low gold.

Djinn Oshannus's copies were bloated for a legendary. Due to the high supply, of course the price would suffer. A max level Djinn Oshannus right now is sold for $9.98 while a level 2 will only cost you $2.70 on the market.

With the low buying price comes with a low renting price as well. You can get a max level Djinn Oshannus for 0.99 DEC per day which is very cheap for a legendary card.
Stats | Prunda Undervesch
Prunda Undervesch is a Common summoner . from the Rebellion Series.
Level 1 common summoners allow the use of:
Level 1 Legendary monsters;
Level 1 Epic monsters;
Level 1 Rare monsters;
Level 1 Common monsters.
Prunda Undervesch is actually really good. Water and Life splinters have good compatibility and a lot of their strategies overlap so you can use the best of both worlds to make a better version of a Water team or Life team.
Dual Element. This card has dual element. In exchange for having no abilties, he can use monsters from 2 elements.
Dual element summoners are interesting as you can use both monsters. This seemed like not too much but when you realized that you can use 4 Tank Heals instead of 2 with 2 different Taunt monsters, while everything can attack, you may change your mind.
Stats | Djinn Oshannus
Djinn Oshannus has very good stats. He has high health and Void and Phase abilities to fight against magic damage, while having high speed to fight against melee and range attacks.
He also has magic damage which can pass through armor and never miss. Magic damage can also attack from all positions making him a good monster to act for either 1st or 2nd position.
At level 1, Void is unlocked. Monsters with Void ability reduces the incoming magic damage by half. If the damage is 1, before the effect applies, the damage is negated and becomes 0.
Void is a strong defensive ability since it halves the opponent's magic damage. Magic damage doesn't miss so reducing its damage a way to protect yourself from that.
At level 2, Phase is unlocked. Monsters with Void ability reduces the incoming magic damage by half. If the damage is 1, before the effect applies, the damage is negated and becomes 0.
Phase is good depending on the monster. Since Djinn Oshannus has high speed, Phase also works really good on him.
At level 3, Forcefield is unlocked. When an opponent attacks a monster with Forcefield, if the damage is 5 or more, it becomes 1.
With the new Summoner Tactics, Forcefield actually became good. You can increase an opponent's damage intentionally in order to activate Forcefield which makes their attacks 1 if they attack this monster.

αͺIαEαα
Prunda Undervesch: Prunda Undervesch is really good in any rule of combat due to her large pool of monsters to use. Since dual summoners use two Splinters, they can adjust their strategies based on what the rules of combat is.
- Hardy Stonefish: Since gladiators will lose their Bloodlust ability's effects, I can use the fillers at the 1st position.
- Djinn Oshannus: Even without abilities, he is a solid pick due to his high health and speed. His magic damage allows him to attack from any position.
- Time Meddler: Due to Prunda Undervesch, I can use monsters from Life element as well. Time Meddler is a good pick due to his decent health and armor. Not to mention, he has magic damage and can attack from any position.
- Musa Saline: A cheap 3 mana cost card with magic damage that I got from Rewards chest.
- River Nymph: Continuing the magic damage build, I added River Nymph as my last monster.
αͺIαͺ YOαα αTαα©TEGY α―OαKEαͺ?
Yes. I planned to use magic damage in order to make my opponent's monster surrender. I don't know if they would use monsters with high armor so it's best to have consistent damage where not only their attacks passes through armor but also cannot miss.
α―αΌα©T α―Iαͺαͺ YOα TαY αͺIα΄α΄EαEαTαͺY αEαT TIα°E?
Time Meddler. While I don't really plan to change anything, you can change Time Meddler to two monsters instead.
I have to admit that his 8 mana cost is too high for one monster considering his health. However, I think this is the best lineup I have so I chose them for this batle.
π«π πππ ππππ Prunda Undervesch and Djinn Oshannus in Back to Basics Rules of Combat? πΎππ ππ πΎππ πππ?
Yes. Prunda Undervesch gives me a huge flexibility with the monsters. This means I can use what I think is the best of both worlds just like having Time Meddler and Djinn Oshannus on the same team.
Djinn Oshannus, on the other hand, is always a best choice in any situation. He has decent damage and good health and speed which can be used to block any form of attacks. He's also really cheap right now so I suggest getting yours while you can.
