Woman : The Concept Of Gender Change In The Digital Age #94

The shift in young people's perspectives on the traditional family points to a global trend of the institution of the family undergoing fundamental change. Talking about improving the overall situation of starting and keeping a family becomes all but impossible.

Typically, individuals pay close attention to processes that deplete the family's spiritual level, the feminism movement's quick growth, and the radically altered gender roles inside the family.

The value of the family institution as a whole is being leveled as a result of an increase in single-parent families, both male and female; this is a concern for society's social stabilization. Statistics for Europe and Russia reveal a recurrent pattern of divorces among young couples who have just legally wed, where the family values are different from those that have long been established.

The cultural and socioeconomic structure of society, which impose their own laws and canons and demolish the traditional family structure, family values and norms, as well as the generally accepted role element of family life, are clearly directly responsible for such a crisis in the modern family.

Undoubtedly, the Internet has had a significant impact on how the younger generation views the family. One of the key conditions for development today is the presence of a computer and ongoing connection to the Internet.

The modern digital generation has been and is still affected by information effect regarding the value of the family and its importance almost from birth. Naturally, this has a systemic effect on how they view women and women's lives. The findings of the study demonstrate that today's youth do not view marriage and family as their major and fundamental objectives.

A particular normative paradigm of the woman is always established by modern culture and society. Its structure incorporates components of family members' normativity, meaning that each of its members is distinguished by a particular status, position, and set of rights and obligations that correspond to the expected behavior. The normative model that the society has chosen is mirrored in the society's concepts, moral principles, and cultural practices.

An actively growing feminist movement, which is focused on the equal division of household duties among spouses and the industrialization of family life, is responsible for the transformation in the conventional family structure. Such changes cause society to conflate gender roles, ideologies, and moral standards.

However, one of the most significant factors determining the significance and value of the family among the digital generation and the source of a significant number of socio-psychological issues is the issue of the lack of certainty of moral norms, which form not only marriage and family but also role relations.

The majority of facets of contemporary life have changed due to digitalization, which has also made difficulties in contemporary society and the economy worse in light of the pandemic. The world of work has been changed by digital technology, creating both opportunities and hazards for gender equality.
