Ladies of Hive Community Contest #73 || Many Women to admire 🌺

Feliz y bendecido día mujeres de todo el mundo, en especial a las mujeres de Hive y de esta hermosa comunidad. Es un placer estar por aquí para volver a participar en el Concurso Semanal de la comunidad; en esta ocasión con un tema dedicado a la mujer. Ambas preguntas me parecieron interesantes, pero esta vez me decidí por responder la primera.

Antes de comenzar, me gustaría aprovechar la oportunidad para invitar a mis amigas @irenenavarroart y @creacioneslelys a participar y dejarnos conocer sus experiencias respecto al tema.

Happy and blessed day women from all over the world, especially to the women of Hive and this beautiful community. It is a pleasure to be here to participate again in the Weekly Community Contest; this time with a theme dedicated to women. Both questions seemed interesting to me, but this time I decided to answer the first one.
Before starting, I would like to take the opportunity to invite my friends @irenenavarroart and @creacioneslelys to participate and let us know about their experiences on the subject.

¿Hay alguna mujer en tu vida a la que admires o te sientas impactada? o cualquier mujer en general que sientas que contribuyó al adelanto de la mujer?

A lo largo de mi vida he conocido muchas mujeres que han impactado mi vida de manera significativa. Elegir solo una para explicar cuál ha sido su aporte en mi formación como mujer y como ser humano es muy difícil, por lo que prefiero hablar de manera general,a riesgo de que mi publicación no cumpla con las expectativas del concurso.

Throughout my life I have met many women who have had a significant impact on my life. Choosing just one to explain what has been her contribution to my formation as a woman and as a human being is very difficult, so I prefer to speak in a general way, at the risk that my publication does not meet the expectations of the contest.

Desde que tengo memoria, recuerdo estar rodeada de mujeres fuertes y decididas. Creo que crecí en una comunidad matriarcal. Recuerdo que mi madre siempre nos contaba como ella junto con un grupo de mujeres jóvenes pero la mayoría con hijos,algunas con maridos, otras no; fundaron el barrio donde crecí.

Todas estas mujeres se organizaban y se apoyaban para cubrir las necesidades básicas de alimentación y servicios. La mayoría de estas mujeres aún siguen viviendo en el mismo barrio,la mayoría de sus hijos se han convertido en personas de bien y han sacado adelante a sus familias gracias a los pilares fundamentales que forjaron estas mujeres en sus vidas. A todas esas valientes señoras del barrio de mi infancia, mi respeto, admiración y cariño.

For as long as I can remember, I remember being surrounded by strong and determined women. I think I grew up in a matriarchal community. I remember my mother always telling us how she and a group of young women, most of them with children, some with husbands, some without; founded the neighborhood where I grew up.
All these women organized and supported each other to cover the basic needs of food and services. Most of these women are still living in the same neighborhood, most of their children have become good people and have raised their families thanks to the fundamental pillars that these women forged in their lives. To all those brave ladies from the neighborhood of my childhood, my respect, admiration and affection.

No es necesario, ser famoso o popular para cambiar una vida o para dejar un legado. Otra señora que recuerdo con gran admiración es a la tierna viejita que me daba clases de catecismo a mis diez años.

Esta señora, maestra jubilada, a sus ochenta años se dedicaba a recibir grupos de niños en su casa para hablarles de Dios y formarlos para la comunión. Siempre estaba dispuesta y feliz de ayudar a los niños. Dedicar toda una vida a formar y moldear personas es una tarea muy ardua pero también muy valiosa.

It is not necessary to be famous or popular to change a life or to leave a legacy. Another lady I remember with great admiration is the tender old lady who gave me catechism classes when I was ten years old.
This lady, a retired teacher, in her eighties, was dedicated to receiving groups of children in her home to talk to them about God and form them for communion. She was always willing and happy to help the children. Dedicating a lifetime to forming and molding people is a very arduous task but also a very valuable one.

Me sobran amigas para admirar: Amigas de la secundaria, de la universidad,ex-compañeras de trabajo y ahora compañeras de Hive.

Una de mis amigas de la secundaría se ha convertido en una inspiración constante de enfrentar los problemas con una sonrisa y buena actitud; ha tenido que pasar muchas cosas fuertes,entre las cuales tener a un hijo con parálisis en todo su cuerpo, perder a su esposo después de una larga batalla contra una enfermedad renal y por ultimo tener que migrar y separarse de sus seres queridos.
Sin embargo, gracias a su actitud optimista ha logrado aceptar con alegría cada una de las pruebas que la vida le ha presentado, sigue luchando, dedicada a su hijo pero también enamorada y empeñada en ser feliz.

Friends from high school, college, former co-workers and now Hive.
One of my high school friends has become a constant inspiration to face problems with a smile and a good attitude; she has had to go through many hard things, including having a son with full body paralysis, losing her husband after a long battle with kidney disease and finally having to migrate and be separated from her loved ones.
However, thanks to her optimistic attitude she has managed to accept with joy each of the trials that life has presented her, she continues to fight, dedicated to her son but also in love and determined to be happy.

De mis amigas de la universidad y de mi ex-compañeras de trabajo, tengo los más gratos recuerdos y las más bonitas enseñanzas. Mujeres con vocación de enseñar, pero no solo de explicar una materia en un salón de clases,sino también de enseñar a pensar con pensamiento crítico y autenticidad.

From my college friends and my former co-workers, I have the fondest memories and the most beautiful teachings. Women with a vocation to teach, but not only to explain a subject in a classroom, but also to teach how to think with critical thinking and authenticity.

Mis amigas y compañeras de Hive me han enseñado a creer, a soñar y materializar nuestros sueños. Son muchas las mujeres que conozco que hacen vida en la plataforma y que se transforman y se reinventan constantemente, para darle a sus lectores lo mejor de sí. Todas esa mujeres fundadoras de comunidades, quienes son dignas de admiración por todo el trabajo que hacen y el mensaje que llevan a toda la plataforma.

My friends and colleagues at Hive have taught me to believe, to dream and to materialize our dreams. There are many women I know who make life on the platform and who are constantly transforming and reinventing themselves to give their readers the best of themselves. All these women founders of communities, who are worthy of admiration for all the work they do and the message they bring to the entire platform.

Creo que todas y cada una de nosotras tiene el poder de transformar, cambiar o mejorar vidas, con nuestro mensaje, nuestro trabajo, habilidades y talentos. Hive es nuestra ventana al mundo y debemos aprovechar al máximo esta oportunidad a través de nuestro blog.

I believe that each and every one of us has the power to transform, change or improve lives, with our message, our work, skills and talents. Hive is our window to the world and we must make the most of this opportunity through our blog.
