Is there really ANYTHING anybody *"as an individual"* wants more in this world than to feel appreciated, valued and loved?! Yeah, there are probably exceptions lol *(aren't there always)* but as a "general rule" I think this applies to most - it certainly does to me. This thought process has been resonating a LOT with me lately. I came across a tweet earlier... ![Untitled.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/jaynie/cC5CkkV0-Untitled.png) and It kinda made me think back to the [post](https://peakd.com/hive-114105/@jaynie/all-that-glitters-is-not-gold-and-all-that-is-old-is-not-covered-in-mold) I published the other day, because really speaking that is all it is about - APPRECIATION. I employed people for many years and the one thing I SWORE I would NEVER do or be is become one of those bosses that didn't show appreciation to those that put their all in. I never was. I have maintained the same attitude here with the running of the [Power House Creatives](http://discord.gg/TarXnxn) server and have ALWAYS bent over backwards - *(more like a pretzel really, LOL)* to make sure that I do my UTMOST in showing those that make an effort that they are appreciated, whilst simultaneously balancing the growth of our community account so that our support ***given*** can increase as quickly as possible. Yeah, there have been those over time who have ***"stomped their feet"*** and walked out because *"they simply weren't being given enough in upvotes, lol!"*, there have been the spammers, plagiarists, coat tail riders and there have been those who were simply not arsed enough to make an effort to the degree required - and yes, there have ALSO been those that have been booted and banned *(Right of admission reserved)* - but the reality is... ***(and despite what so many "loud horns" protest)*** we are ALWAYS left with a **FIRST CLASS COLLECTIVE** of Hive individuals at the helm, who do EVERYTHING possible to motivate, educate and inspire ALL the newcomers to our space and the BEST part of ALL is that not a SINGLE ONE of us are a part of the "baaah baaah SHEEP". Yeah you read it correctly. People *flake* all the time and "Kiss asses" are not exactly new news... - it is pretty common in this space as well as in life "generally". What pisses me off is when people cannot differentiate between the generosity of appreciation and their own expectation of what is "owed" to them. >"I ***WANT*** never gets! - My mother always said. This WORLD owes us NOTHING! It is up to each of us as individuals to make things happen the way we want them to, and in a collective space - it is the efforts of ALL the people who share the same mindset that start making a difference - band together and shake shit up! You may not think you "NEED" a community - until you actually HAVE one and realise just how MUCH value it adds to your experience and journey in this space. Personally, I cannot imagine Hive without it and I probably would have given up a long time ago had it not been for the people within our PHC space. The winds of change are on the horizon *(aren't they always)* - and I think the time has come for us "little" communities to work together... lest we become FURTHER DOMINATED and OWNED by the money hungry JERKS in this space that paint ***"such pretty pictures"*** for all. So firstly, I would like to say PLEASE hop into our PHC server [HERE](http://discord.gg/TarXnxn). Let's work TOGETHER for a CHANGE!
