Hola Hivers! En esta oportunidad escribiré acerca de mi motivación a unirme a la comunidad “Ladies Of Hive”. Agradezco a esta comunidad por la oportunidad de participar en este concurso y de ser parte de esta comunidad multicolor y pluricultural.
Hello Hivers! In this opportunity I will write about my motivation to join the Ladies Of Hive community. I thank this community for the opportunity to participate in this contest and to be part of this multicolored and multicultural community.<
Les cuento que soy relativamente nueva en HIve (Tengo alrededor de 3 meses). Una vez que realicé mi primera publicación acerca de mi presentación personal, comencé a explorar en diversas comunidades. Recuerdo que se acercaba el día internacional de la mujer y me pareció un espacio muy propicio para abordar la conmemoración de esta fecha. Luego, al estudiar un poco el concepto que se presenta como abreboca “Una comunidad que se centra en las mujeres, en sus intereses, alegrías y pasiones, y que comparte historias de su viaje en la vida”, no pude sentirme más identificada con este espacio.
I am relatively new to HIve (I am about 3 months old). Once I made my first publication about my personal presentation, I started to explore different communities. I remember that International Women's Day was approaching and it seemed to me a very propitious space to approach the commemoration of this date. Then, as I studied a bit the concept presented as an opener "A community that focuses on women, their interests, joys and passions, and shares stories of their journey in life", I could not feel more identified with this space.<
“Ladies of Hive” representa para mi ese espacio que enaltece y dignifica el trabajo realizado por las mujeres desde todos los escenarios de su vida. Soy profesora de Historia, lo que aunado a mi condición de mujer me ha circunscrito a la línea pro-defensa de los derechos de las mujeres en todos los ámbitos de la vida. Fue solo hasta mediados del pasado siglo XX cuando las féminas comenzaron a ser consideradas en la vida política, reconociéndose el sufragio femenino en 1948 a través de la Comisión de Derechos Humanos de las Naciones Unidas
"Ladies of Hive" represents for me that space that exalts and dignifies the work done by women in all the scenarios of their lives. I am a history professor, which together with my condition as a woman has circumscribed me to the pro-defense line of women's rights in all spheres of life. It was only until the middle of the twentieth century when women began to be considered in political life, with the recognition of women's suffrage in 1948 through the United Nations Commission on Human Rights.<
Hoy por hoy, de acuerdo con datos suministrados por la Organización de las naciones unidas, en la actualidad al menos 200 millones han padecido mutilación genital, 1 de cada 3 mujeres ha sufrido violencia física y sexual, y 60% de las mujeres en el mundo trabajan en la economía informal; perciben un 23% menos de ingreso que los hombres y ocupan tan solo 24% de los curules en los parlamentos.
Today, according to data provided by the United Nations, at least 200 million women have suffered genital mutilation, 1 in 3 women have suffered physical and sexual violence, and 60% of the world's women work in the informal economy; they earn 23% less income than men and occupy only 24% of the seats in parliaments.<
Las cifras anteriores nos recuerdan que aún, en pleno siglo XXI la mujer continúa siendo vulnerada en muchos de los derechos que como ser humano le competen. Ladies Of Hive nos muestra el trabajo realizado por las féminas en el camino de la vida. A través de esta ventana he tenido la oportunidad de disfrutar de la creatividad femenina en su máxima expresión dibujada a través de hermosos post que me dejan boquiabierta.
The above figures remind us that even in the 21st century, women continue to be violated in many of the rights they have as human beings. Ladies Of Hive shows us the work done by women in the path of life. Through this window I have had the opportunity to enjoy female creativity in its maximum expression drawn through beautiful posts that leave me speechless.<
Todas las semanas se presentan concursos que incentivan a las suscriptoras a presentar su creatividad. Particularmente, me detengo a revisar muchos post y a deleitarme con la belleza que hay en el cerebro y el corazón de las mujeres que hacen vida en esta comunidad en un tiempo histórico tan pertinente –plena pandemia del Covid-19-, por lo que en el confinamiento domiciliario me ha brindado hermosas experiencias en este espacio. Desde la silla de mi computador he viajado a destinos hermosos, he saboreado y tomado nota de recetas de platillos deliciosos, he aprendido acerca de la importancia de quererse a sí misma y hasta he realizado algunas manualidades hermosas gracias a los aportes realizados por mujeres.
Every week there are contests that encourage subscribers to present their creativity. Particularly, I stop to review many posts and to delight myself with the beauty that is in the brains and hearts of the women who make life in this community in such a pertinent historical time -plenary pandemic of Covid-19-, so in home confinement has given me beautiful experiences in this space. From my computer chair I have traveled to beautiful destinations, I have tasted and taken note of delicious recipes, I have learned about the importance of loving oneself and I have even made some beautiful handicrafts thanks to the contributions made by women.<
“Ladies of Hive” es la confirmación de que el mundo está cambiando y que día a día existen mujeres empoderadas desde sus diferentes ámbitos de acción. Es un espacio que nos ensaña que las damas no solo son de color rosa, sino que existen múltiples y diversos colores que nos representan. Gracias por permitirme ser parte de esta familia.
"Ladies of Hive" is the confirmation that the world is changing and that every day there are empowered women in their different fields of action. It is a space that shows us that ladies are not only pink, but that there are multiple and diverse colors that represent us. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this family.<
