Those who follow me know that I am a retired woman and this allows me to make a more calm analysis of my career and be able to reach a conclusion as objective as possible about this week's topic.
The achievements I may have had in my life are a mixture of love, shared efforts, sacrificed work and family welfare. For these reasons, my fundamental achievements are sentimental and work-related and have had an impact on my family and social environment.
If I had to decide my greatest achievement without hesitation I would say that it is having been a mother. This is incomparable with any other positive or good thing I have done in my life and it is my most exquisite fulfillment as a human being.
Being a mother has allowed me to know the deepest love and the true meaning of this feeling. My children represent the true interpretation of beauty and the permanent inspiration of the greater good. Because of my children I have been a better person and they have pushed me to be a better person both humanly and spiritually.
The other accomplishment I consider myself to have achieved is to have been a teacher. Many say that it is a very sacrificing and poorly paid profession. Perhaps they are referring to the economic remuneration, but, at the level of feelings given and received, there is no more noble, beautiful and human work.
Being a teacher allowed me to complement my training as a mother and being a mother allowed me to better understand my students. In other words, the mother and the teacher complemented each other and became better human beings.
Today, after 61 years there is nothing that gives me more happiness than to see my two children become excellent human beings and to be able to receive the affection of the students I taught and educated or to arrive at a hospital and see a doctor or nurse tell me that thanks to you, today I am a better person.

Los que me siguen saben que soy una mujer jubilada y, esto, me permite hacer un análisis más sosegado sobre mi trayectoria y poder arribar a una conclusión lo más objetiva posible en torno a este tema de la semana.
Los logros que pueda haber tenido en mi vida son una mezcla de amores, esfuerzos compartidos, trabajo sacrificado y bienestar familiar. Por tales razones, mis logros fundamentales son sentimentales y laborales y han tenido una incidencia en mi entorno familiar y social.
Si tuviera que decidir mi logro mayor sin dudar diría que es el haber sido madre. Esto es incomparable con cualquier otra cosa positiva o buena que haya hecho en mi vida y es mi realización más exquisita como ser humano.
Ser madre me ha permitido conocer el amor más profundo y la significación verdadera de este sentimiento. Mis hijos representan la interpretación verdadera de la belleza y la inspiración permanente del bien mayor. Por mis hijos he sido mejor persona y me han impulsado a ser una mejor persona en lo humano y en lo espiritual.
El otro logro que considero haber alcanzado es haber sido maestra o profesora. Muchos dicen que es una profesión muy sacrificada y mal remunerada. Quizás se refieran a la remuneración económica, pero, a nivel de sentimientos entregados y recibidos, no hay ninguna labor más noble, bella y humana.
Ser maestra me permitió complementar mi formación como madre y ser mamá me permitió poder entender mejor a mis estudiantes. Es decir, que la madre y la maestra se complementaron y se hicieron mejores seres humanos.
Hoy, después de 61 años vividos no hay nada que me dé más felicidad que ver a mis dos hijos convertidos en excelentes seres humanos y poder recibir el cariño de los estudiantes a los que les di clases y eduqué o llegar a un hospital y ver a un médico o enfermera decirme gracias a usted hoy soy una mejor persona.
