It Is All Coming Together...

I am tired, and so full as I write this now. Been a really busy week with the move. To clarify, I remember writing about how I would like to leave my previous environment at the end of the year? I was saving HBD towards this goal. To cut the whole story, I am sitting and writing this post from my desk in New House.

As I was cooking in "my" kitchen, I was smiling at myself and wondering how I went from sharing my business with the public, to being away from it. Now, I have my own bathroom, kitchen and away from people's business. Let me elaborate...

Few days ago, I was in a "compound house" known as face-me-I-face-you in Nigeria. This kind of place is always in a very undeveloped area with loud and noisy neighbors, public toilets and even public kitchens (some). There is always water or light problems and sometimes the issue with security.

That is no longer my case. Here, in the Ladies of Hive community, I shared how much the lack of water affects me and even my knee as I am always carrying water. I said I worked a plan to get water without jeopardizing my health and that was to pay someone to get the water for me. That wasn't really working out. The boys were inconsistent and mostly unfaithful to keeping their word. I knew that I just had to leave.

So with the Saturday Savers, I saved up what I was able to and planned my relocation. In a nutshell, I am in a house that has its own bathroom, kitchen and filled with water. The house is called "Gidan Ruwa" which is translated to "House of Water or Water House" because it never lacks water. Even without light. There are about five huge tanks being pumped with water every hour and I heard that people come to buy water. I haven't really inquired how true it is.

What I do know is that I am no longer lacking water. This morning, water ran from my bathroom! I washed my dishes in the sink to running water! I am really chuffed about this. The location is secure and the environment filled with working class people. Except for the kids and their nannies, everyone else is off to work.

Today, while listening to my Daily dose of motivation, I realized what a long way I have come. From no home at all to one with its own bathroom! I still can't get over this right here and the fact with the water! I also know that this is more responsibility as I have never paid for something this expensive before. Our rent usually falls under $53 yearly but with the change (which is a good one) it is now a little over $235. Knowing this, I knew I would have to stay afloat and prepared at all times! So, I decided to start from the day I made the deposit.

I divided N180,000 ($235.02) into 365 days and got a little less than N500 ($0.65) daily. I made up my mind to save this amount everyday in both fiat and Crypto. And when I say Crypto, I mean HBD. I disburse N1000 daily from my wallet. One part goes into my savings and the other I save with @tengolotodo.leo (no surprise there. The man is quite strict).

Don't be shocked that it is that small. Lol. I withdrew the previous one remember?

Anyway, and back to one more subject. I held on my HP goals because I was powering down to get me a good phone to work with. Now that is done, I can focus on building again.

I left my HP over 200 by the time I got what I wanted. If I say that didn't hit me hard, I am lying. But, from July 1st till now, I got back 200HP and doubled to 400HP. I want to seriously believe and hope that the coming months would be successful as July was.

While I want to say that I would also be picking up on my Leo goals, I can't. Not right now. I have this bad habit of going in too many directions at once and losing everything. For now, I will be more focused on my HBD and HP goals. This is something I know I can do and not feel overwhelmed.

I have done pretty well the past month and a few weeks. And I don't just mean on Hive. My life outside the chain really coming together and I am just loving it. The house hasn't been put together totally but it is in progress. Mom and I visited the market today and got a couple of things to hold us until we resume our business. Given it is a new environment, we have to scout for a new place and get the business plan in place which is what I have been quite busy with. It is not easy to relocate especially when it is business.

So, for my goals update:

CURRENTGOAL

I will face my layer tokens later. This is my savings report. Hoping to win more this coming week! If you want to become an SSC member and save but don’t know how, just read this post and get started. Never too late.

A big thank you to @tengolotodo for not giving up on me even when I gave up on myself. For believing in me every step of the way. It makes all the difference. And to our partner @coquicoin, thank you for being an inspiration. I love you guys❤️!
