Hola. Esta es mi participación en el concurso #30 de la comunidad Ladies of hive. Las dos preguntas de esta semana me atraen. A ver, les voy a responder las dos.
Hi. This is my entry in the Ladies of hive community quiz #30. This week's two questions appeal to me. Let's see, I'm going to answer them both.
Que comida nunca has comido y te gustaría probar? // What food have you never eaten and would like to try?
Te provoca? A mi si! La primera vez que vi este platillo tan exótico fue en las novelas mexicanas que transmiten en la televisión venezolana. Luego vi un programa especial de la gastronomía de México y pude conocer exactamente de qué se trata. A los niños les gusta mucho. Son insectos muy bien preparados. Me los imagino crujientes y picanticos.
Además de querer probarlos tengo un deseo muy particular, probarlos en México lindo y querido, para estar segura de su preparación.
Does it provoke you? It does to me! The first time I saw this exotic dish was in the Mexican soap operas that are broadcasted on Venezuelan television. Then I saw a special program about Mexican gastronomy and I got to know exactly what it is. The children like it very much. They are very well prepared insects. I imagine them crunchy and spicy.
Besides wanting to try them, I have a very particular desire, to try them in Mexico, so I can be sure of their preparation.
Qué fue algo que empezó mal para ti, pero al final fue genial? // What was something that started out bad for you, but ended up being great?
Soy una persona muy métodica, me gusta planificar y agendar las actividades. Cuando éstas hay que replanificarlas por cualquier motivo me disgusto mucho. Planificamos la visita a unos familiares en navida. Yo deseaba y necesitaba disfrutar de un ambiente ameno y tranquilo. Quería estar rodeada de mis seres queridos y descansar.
En el transcurso del viaje recibimos una llamada de invitación para una Casa de playa ubicada un poco mas lejos del lugar de nuestro destino. En plena vía y en movimiento; mi esposo realizó la consulta a los miembros de la familia (mis hijos y yo) a lo que inmediatamente respondí con un rotundo NO. Ahhhhh, pero mis hijos no me apoyaron y por decisión mayoritaria nos desvíamos de la ruta original.
I am a very methodical person, I like to plan and schedule activities. When they have to be rescheduled for any reason I get very upset. We planned to visit some relatives for Christmas. I wanted and needed to enjoy a pleasant and calm environment. I wanted to be surrounded by my loved ones and to rest.
In the course of the trip we received an invitation call to a beach house located a little further away from our destination. In the middle of the road and on the move; my husband asked the family members (my children and I) and I immediately answered with a resounding NO. Ahhhhh, but my children did not support me and by majority decision we deviated from the original route.
No me puedo quejar, mi esposo siempre fue muy complaciente y para aquel momento podíamos hacer algunos gastos adicionales. Así que debimos comprar la indumentaria necesaria y hacer retiro de efectivo (dinero físico). En realidad la pasamos muy bien. Mis hijos gozaron y compartieron con otros niños y mi esposo igual. No fue lo que desee, pero estuvo bonito el paseo.
I can't complain, my husband was always very accommodating and by that time we were able to make some additional expenses. So we had to buy the necessary clothes and make cash withdrawals (physical money). We really had a great time. My children enjoyed themselves and shared with other children and my husband the same. It was not what I wanted, but it was a nice ride.
