Ladies of Hive Community Contest #123

Greetings and blessings my beautiful people of ladies of hive, once again participating in this initiative that brings us this beautiful community of empowered women. Today I chose to answer the first of them:

Why are so many people lonely? Why is it so difficult for people to make real contacts when almost everyone wants to make real contacts?

Many people say they feel lonely, but the paradox of all this is that they really are not, feeling lonely is not something from the other world, it is very common, human beings are social beings since the time of the caves, and today we still have that natural instinct to interact with other people, and when we lose that innate connection by multiple factors, alarms are activated in our cerebral cortex that produces a feeling of emptiness, and it is nothing more than part of our survival instinct, remember that we are programmed to survive.

Not all of us know how to empathize with loneliness, we are always looking for situations that keep us distracted. And in my very personal opinion and anchored to the work I have been doing as a therapist, I have come to the conclusion that loneliness is derived from fear, fear is one of our most basic emotions, and if we go back to thousands of years ago since the human being exists on earth, this was exposed to imfinities of dangers, He could be devoured by large predators, or be a perfect target for members of other communities, and of course being alone was not a guarantee of life, he had to group in any way, and this is where our reptilian brain plays an important role since the most primitive brain associated with the survival instinct and this associates exclusion with loneliness.

Feeling alone is not an evil to die, I consider it a great opportunity to strengthen ties with our emotions, while we look for the appropriate mechanisms to make new social connections. However I emphasize something very important, it is not the same, nor similar, to be alone, to feel alone, there is the loneliness that one wishes to have and the other side of the coin is the imposed loneliness and this is where social pressure, exclusion has an important part, and this leads to enter the ostracism generated by social networks, that is where the human being chooses not to deal with their fears, or their insecurities.
