We don’t celebrate Sinterklaas anymore, a dutch fest for the little kids. My youngest is ten and than they know its not real and a fairy tail, but instead we choose to get the tree up early.
That is a thing I love. I already shared that we went to a christmas market in a garden center and now four weeks before Christmas, I have her in the house hahahha.
I try to do a different theme every year and I even sometimes buy in the sale in january a color I can add to the Christmas balls and ornaments I already have in the attick. The tree is a part of our home so I need it to be beautiful fitting. This year I wanted to do a tree with funny things. I have ice cream cones, shoes, bottles of beer, hamburgers, popcorn, polar bears, donuts, cupcakes and funny ornaments.
I bought them and incorporated them to the bunch we already had. I will use the white and green balls for a table piece for the christmas dinner, but I will wait with that blog and the making of for two weeks because it will be moved to much for making it to early and have the pine branches and needles falling out.
Enjoy the pictures I made turning a green tree into a livingroom piece that will give us joy the coming weeks.

Its so funny and different we love it.
This is the tree in-hous-coming but to get it in a tree foot is always a thing. So again this was step one :
