ENGLISH

Hello ladies, today I will answer one of the questions of contest # 87 where it asks us to talk about our favorite mythological creatures or that we wish they really existed, this is a very particular topic because in the course of our lives we have seen many of these creatures through books and movies where they have been shown to us in a fantastic way, making us dream of seeing them in real life. It is difficult knowing so many of these creatures to choose just one. After much thought about how amazing they are, I selected this one as my favorite:

Dragons

These fantastic animals that we have seen represented in different movies as large, flying, powerful, magical and sometimes fire-breathing creatures, they are my favorite. I actually think I like many of these movies in which dragons are majestic and in most cases friends of man. My all time favorite is Saphira from “Eragon”, she is the most beautiful dragon I have ever seen.

In most of the movies dragons are shown as spirit guides that accompany and support the unprotected. Disney is one of the production companies that I believe has bet on this vision and we have seen it in films such as Mulan, My Friend the Dragon and Raya, as well as others such as The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and How to Train Your Dragon. Of course, we can’t forget the most famous dragons of recent times and I’m referring to Daenerys Targaryen’s dragons: Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion who are not like the first ones but on the contrary inspired fear.

Perhaps, my inclination for these creatures is due to everything that the film industry has wanted to sell us, since the only dragons considered as benevolent are the Chinese or Japanese who are symbols of good fortune. Then, of all those named in the movies I wrote above, the only ones that really have spiritual guides are Mulan and Raya 🤭.

Taking all this into account and that it is a question to exploit the imagination, I would like to be able to count on a dragon as a friend and that people destined to do great things for humanity could also have the help of a guide and companion who would always be with them until the end. Preferably a Chinese or Japanese dragon to save us from any mishaps 😂.
