The father figure in my life💗 | Contest N°138 Ladies of Hive!

Hello Ladies🌺! How are you? I hope you are very nice and that your day has passed in the best way, around here we are quite well thank God, happy to pass once again by this community composed of strong, warrior and enterprising women. In this opportunity to pay tribute in some way to those fathers or father figures in our lives, so thanks to the invitation of my friend @bluevibes, I join the weekly contest, where I will give my opinion on the proposed topics.
Before I start, I would like to extend a special invitation to my friends @milagrosmhbl and @yagelybr.. Without further ado, here is my participation.

_{1️⃣ Un día de reconocimiento a los padres se celebrará a finales de este mes en algunas partes del mundo. Con la percepción cambiante de los roles de género en nuestras sociedades modernas, ¿cómo definiría los roles y responsabilidades de los padres? ¿Y por qué los defines así?}

Aunque nunca crecí con mi papá a mi lado, gracias al esposo maravilloso con quién tengo la dicha de compartir mi vida hasta ahora, puedo decir que, el rol que los padres ejercen en la vida nuestra, no se trata solo de ser el sustento del hogar o esa figura masculina, sino entre sus responsabilidades está el hecho de compartir momentos de afectos y demuestra de cariño y de interés, de ser un apoyo y esos brazos de confort donde los hijos se sientan protegidos y amados, además que el hecho de colaborar con algunos que haceres domésticos no lo convertirá en menos padre ni menos hombre.

_{1️⃣ A day of recognition for fathers will be celebrated later this month in some parts of the world. With the changing perception of gender roles in our modern societies, how would you define the roles and responsibilities of fathers? And why do you define them that way?}

Although I never grew up with my father by my side, thanks to the wonderful husband with whom I have the joy of sharing my life until now, I can say that the role that fathers play in our lives is not only about being the breadwinner or that masculine figure, but among their responsibilities is the fact of sharing moments of affection and showing affection and interest, of being a support and those arms of comfort where children feel protected and loved, also the fact of collaborating with some domestic chores will not make him less of a father or less of a man.

_{2️⃣ Si tuviste una "figura paterna" amada en tu vida (padre, abuelo, tío, amigo de la familia, empleador, etc.) y te gustaría reconocerlo con una historia, ¡nos encantaría escucharla!}

Efectivamente, el hecho de haber crecido sin un padre no me hizo sentir menos amada ni nada por el estilo, todo lo tuve con mi madre y adicional a mi abuelito y mi tío (ambos por parte materna).

Crecí en los brazos de mi abuelo, quien me mimaba y me consentia hasta más no poder, era ese quien me llevaba a caminatas matutinas además que contaba con una paciencia infinita. Era él quien figuraba ese padre amoroso, que lamentablemente solo me acompaño los primeros 9 años y partió a un lugar mejor, (así Dios lo quiso) pero me quedaron muchos recuerdos, como que el era ese cómplice y quien cuidaba tanto de mí, como de mi hermano, mientras mi madre trabajaba, era ese que cuando le pedían un favor de ir a algún lado, se tomaba el tiempo que fuese necesario con tal de llevarnos con él.

Por otro lado, mi tío Angel y si de verdad que es un ángel en nuestra vida, ha estado siempre allí, viéndonos como unos hijos más, apoyándonos en todo lo que puede y quien me acompañó a mis actos de grado, como cualquier padre orgulloso lo haría con sus hijos!

_{2️⃣ If you had a beloved "father figure" in your life (father, grandfather, uncle, family friend, employer, etc.) and would like to acknowledge him or her with a story, we'd love to hear it!}

Indeed, growing up without a father did not make me feel less loved or anything like that, I had it all with my mother and in addition to my grandfather and uncle (both on my mother's side).

I grew up in the arms of my grandfather, who spoiled and pampered me to the max, he was the one who took me for morning walks and had infinite patience. He was the one who was my loving father, who unfortunately only accompanied me for the first 9 years and left for a better place (God willing), but I have many memories, like that he was that accomplice and who took care of me and my brother while my mother worked, he was the one who when asked for a favor to go somewhere, he would take the time that was necessary as long as he could take us with him.

On the other hand, my uncle Angel, and if he really is an angel in our life, he has always been there, watching us as one of our children, supporting us in everything he can and who accompanied me to my graduation ceremonies, as any proud father would do with his children!
