In my country, Venezuela, we usually call Holy Week the main week, it is a time when churches are filled, and many people are seen enhancing activities around their religious beliefs, as others choose to go on vacation or enjoy the beach, in my case being a Christian, this week means a lot to me especially on Easter Sunday and I also think it is more difficult to understand or assimilate for many, but well we are limited humans and that is much of the problem of humanity, but that is a topic for another publication.

Now then, what did you plan for the week that just ended? Simply, nothing, one of the first reasons was the money and the second, although in the institute where I work we usually attend during that week only Monday and Tuesday, all the colleagues had the hope that they would give us the whole week, as it has happened in previous years, first for economic reasons and second because there is not much to do in the office. We were in doubt as to whether we would have to attend or not, until Friday afternoon when we got that long awaited message from the office group informing us that we would be free for the whole week.

The truth is that I didn't have the money to go out, at least to eat ice cream with my son and my husband, besides the fact that the latter was working, so we spent the time at home watching movies, series, talking, laughing, remembering my grandmother and my mother, who we miss so much. On the other hand, my son and my husband shared their passion for mechanics and worked a little on my husband's motorcycle, to which they had to do some maintenance and replace some things, don't ask me which ones, because I don't know anything about the subject, for my part, while they did that, I did a little gardening.

Now, as I already mentioned, I did gardening, transplanted some plants that were already very crowded, to other pots, and I also planted one that I had prepared in advance in the gardens to make it look nicer, it was one of the purposes that my mother had in mind and she never materialized or she did it only in part, so I am finishing that part.

On the other hand, I believe that holidays can be enjoyed traveling, but it is also very valid and productive to take advantage of them to rest, do or finish some pending projects, watch TV, talk with your loved ones calmly, without the stress and pressure of the day to day.

I know that some people enjoy traveling and it is nice to go to the beach or to the mountains with those people you love, who are special to you, but I love being at home with comfortable clothes, watching TV and listening to music, talking and above all laughing with the ones I love, because the point is not the place or the activity but the affection and quality time that you enjoy with your family.

Logically, this does not mean that the family will only share at home, it is important to go out and share different moments in other spaces, which you will treasure, to know places together, to live experiences away from those four walls that we call home.

In short, I had no plans for Easter, I just rested and shared with the ones I love, I hope you were able to do it too and if you didn't you are on time, so I have given an answer to question No. 1 Spring is already here. En mi país, Venezuela, solemos llamar a la Semana Santa la semana mayor, es una época en la que las iglesias se llenan, y se ve a muchos realzando actividades en torno a sus creencias religiosas, como otros optan por irse de vacaciones o de disfrutar de la playa, en mi caso al ser cristiana, esta semana significa mucho para mí en especial el domingo de resurrección y creo también que es día más difícil de comprender o asimilar para muchos, pero bueno somos humanos limitados y ese es gran parte del problema de la humanidad, pero eso es tema para otra publicación.

Ahora bien, ¿Qué planifique para la semana que acaba de terminar? Simplemente, nada una de las primeras razones fue el cochino dinero y lo segundo, aunque en el instituto en el que laboro solemos asistir durante esa semana solo lunes y martes, todos los compañeros teníamos la esperanza de que nos dieran la semana completa, como ha sucedido en años anteriores, primero por tema económico y segundo porque no hay gran cosa que hacer en la oficina. Nos tuvieron con la duda de si tendríamos que asistir o no, hasta el viernes en la tarde y llego ese ansiado mensaje el grupo de la oficina donde nos informaban que estaríamos libres toda la semana.

La verdad no disponía de dinero para salir, por lo menos a comer helados con mi hijo y mi esposo, demás de que este último si estaba laborando, así que la pasamos en casa viendo películas, series, conversando, riendo, recordando a mi abuela y a mi madre, quienes tanta falta nos hacen. Por su parte, mi hijo y mi esposo compartieron su pasión por la mecánica y trabajaron un poco en la motocicleta de mi esposo, a la que tenían que hacerle mantenimiento y sustituir algunas cosas, no me pregunten cuáles, porque no se nada de la materia, por mi parte, mientras ellos hacían eso, yo hice un poco de jardinería

Ahora bien, como ya mencione, hice jardinería, trasplante unas plantas que ya estaban muy apiñadas, a otras macetas, y también sembré una que había preparado con antelación en los jardines para que se vea más lindo, era uno de los propósitos que mi madre tenía presentes y nunca materializo o lo hizo solo en parte, así que yo estoy terminando esa parte.

Por otro lado, creo firmante que los días festivos se pueden disfrutar viajando, pero también es muy válido y productivo aprovecharlos para descansar, realizar o terminar algunos proyectos pendientes, ver televisión, conversar con tus seres queridos con calma, sin el estrés y presión del día a día.

Sé que algunos disfrutan viajar y si es rico ir a la playa o a la montaña con esas personas que quieres, que son espaciales para ti, pero yo amo estar en casa con ropa cómoda, ver televisión y escuchar música, conversar y sobre todo reír con los que amo, porque el punto no es el lugar o la actividad es el cariño y tiempo de calidad que se disfrute en familia.

Lógicamente, no por ello la familia va solo a compartir en casa, es importante salir a compartir en otros espacios momentos diferentes, los cuales atesoraras, conocer lugares juntos, vivir experiencias lejos de esas cuatro paredes a las que llamamos hogar.

En resumen, no tenía planes para Semana Santa, solo descansé y compartí con los seres que amo, espero que tú también hayas podido hacerlo y si no hiciste estas a tiempo, así le he dado respuesta a la pregunta N° 1 La primavera ya está aquí.
