Hello friends. Today I want to tell you about a different city. This city is Sakarya, the city where my wife lives and grew up. I mentioned in my previous posts that my wife is Sakarya. I mentioned that we went to Sakarya for my wife's brother's wedding last Dec. On this Sakarya trip, we went to a very beautiful place Sakarya Metropolitan Airplane Theater and Restaurant. I want to call it the Airplane Cafe for short, because the name is quite long.This cafe is located in the center of Sakarya. In a place that is easily accessible for those who come to the city. According to my wife, a plane that crashed many years ago was bought and brought here and turned into such a beautiful project.
Merhaba arkadaşlar. Bugün size farklı bir şehirden bahsetmek istiyorum. Bu şehir eşimin yaşayıp büyüdüğü şehir olan Sakarya. Daha önceki postlarımda eşimin Sakaryalı olduğundan bahsetmiştim. Geçen ara tatilde de eşimin kardeşinin düğünü için Sakarya’ya gittiğimizden bahsetmiştim. Bu Sakarya gezimizde çok güzel bir yere Sakarya Büyükşehir Uçak Kıraathanesi ve Restorant’ına gittik. Ben burasına kısaca Uçak Kafe demek istiyorum çünkü ismi baya uzun.Bu kafe Sakarya’nın merkezinde bulunuyor. Şehire gelenler için rahatlıkla ulaşabileceği bir yerde. Eşimin anlattığına göre yıllar önce düşen bir uçağın satın alınarak buraya getirilmiş ve böyle güzel bir projeye dönüştürülmüş.
When I was traveling with my family, we were abstaining at first because it looked like a very expensive place from the outside. We also come all the time, and while we were coming, we said let's go inside and started climbing the stairs. You are greeted with a smiling face at the entrance and shown your place. Of course, before we took our seats, we examined the surroundings and took photos. I've never been on such a big plane before, and it was very spacious inside. When you walk through the bookshelves and Decking tables, you feel that you are in a very intimate environment. I think it comes from the peace that the book gives and the sincerity that people who drink tea give. Then we went to our table and started sipping our tea, but our eyes were constantly watching around and we were almost critical of this cafe. What would this cafe be like if it were in Mersin and how it would attract good attention, we thought it was a very big investment tool if there was money to invest.
Ailemle gezerken ilk başta çekimser davrandık çünkü dışardan bakarken çok pahalı bir mekana benziyordu. Biz de her zaman mı geliyoruz gelmişken içerisini de gezelim dedik ve merdivenlerinden çıkmaya başladık. Girişte güler yüzle karşılanıyorsunuz ve size yeriniz gösteriliyor. Tabi yerimize geçmeden önce etrafı inceleyip fotoğraflar çektik. Ben daha önce hiç bu kadar büyük bir uçağa da binmemiştim içerisi çok genişti. Kitap rafları ve yemek masalarının arasından yürüdüğünüzde kendinizi çok samimi bir ortamda olduğunuzu hissediyorsunuz. Kitabın verdiği huzur ve çay içen kişilerin verdiği samimiyetten geliyor sanırım. Daha sonra masamıza geçip çaylarımızı yudumlamaya başladık ama gözümüz sürekli etrafı izliyordu ve bu kafenin kritiğini yapıyorduk adeta. Bu kafe Mersin’de olsa nasıl olurdu ve nasıl güzel ilgi çekeceğinden, yatırım yapacak para olsa çok büyük yatırım aracı olduğunu düşündük.
The interesting thing is that the prices were very affordable compared to regular cafes. I am glad that such an expensive investment has been made and that there are such affordable prices. I think it comes from the fact that affordable prices belong to the municipality. I concluded that it belongs to the municipality based on the name of the cafe. Both such affordable prices and the conversion of aging aircraft into an economy are a promising development for the future. İşin ilginç tarafı fiyatlar normal kafelere göre çok uygundu. Böyle pahalı yatırım yapılması ve böyle uygun fiyatlar olması beni sevindirdi. Uygun fiyatların olması belediyeye ait olmasından geliyor sanırım. Belediyeye ait olduğu sonucunu ise kafenin isminden hareketle söyledim. Hem böyle uygun fiyatlar hem de eskiyen uçakların ekonomiye dönüştürülmesi gelecek adına umut verici bir gelişme. Bu uygulamayı geliştirerek birçok şehirimize yayabiliriz diye düşünüyorum.
