Hello friends. In today's post, I want to share something from my trip to Istanbul. There are so many memories for Istanbul in my gallery. I shared one of my best memories with you yesterday. Today I also want to share a great value for me and Istanbul. I would like to share the mosque and mausoleum of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Han with you. He left Istanbul to us and left this world, but even though hundreds of years have passed, our people and even the whole world know how great a commander and statesman he was.
Merhaba arkadaşlar. Bugünkü gönderimde İstanbul gezimden bir şeyler paylaşmak istiyorum. Galerimde İstanbul için çok fazla anı var. Dün en güzel anılarımdan birini sizinle paylaşmıştım. Bugün de benim ve İstanbul için çok büyük bir değeri paylaşmak istiyorum. Fatih Sultan Mehmet Han’ın camisini ve türbesini sizinle paylaşmak istiyorum. İstanbul’u bize emanet bırakarak bu dünyadan göçtü ama yüzlerce yıl geçmesine rağmen halkımız hatta tüm dünya onun ne kadar büyük komutan ve devlet adamı olduğunu biliyor.
He took Istanbul, which is called Almaz, and we should remember him by visiting him a lot. Before he died, he left historical heritage such as Fatih mosque to us. This mosque is similar to other mosques, namely Suleymaniye, Selimiye, Sultan Ahmet mosques. But each mosque has its own architecture and features. Unfortunately, I couldn't do any research on this. We visited this mosque with my mother, father, brother, wife and son. We stopped by Suleymaniye before we came to visit, I will share it in my other post. From there we walked to Fatih and visited other works of art on the way. But the distance was too much, we were very tired, my mother and father were old, so they had a lot of difficulty. We left the car in the parking lot because it was difficult to get around by car. Because it's not like Istanbul's traffic will ever be withdrawn, really. We walked around the Fatih mosque for a while, I was especially interested in the sundial located in front of the mosque. In the past, this clock was used to determine the hours of prayer. It made me very emotional to come to mind and think of such a thing at that time. I also took the explanation, those who are curious can look at the photos.
Alınmaz denen İstanbul’u aldı bizim de onu bol bol ziyaret ederek onu anmalıyız. Ölmeden önce de Fatih cami gibi tarihi mirası bizlere bıraktı. Bu cami diğer camilere yani Süleymaniye, Selimiye, Sultan Ahmet camilerine benziyor. Ama her caminin kendine göre bir mimarisi ve özelliği var. Bu konuda araştırma yapamadım maalesef. Bu camiye annem, babam, kardeşim, eşim ve oğlumla ziyaret ettik. Ziyaretimize gelmeden önce Süleymaniye’ye uğradık onu diğer postumda paylaşacağım. Oradan Fatih’e doğru yürüdük yolda diğer sanat eserlerini ziyaret ettik. Ama mesafe çok fazlaymış baya yorulduk annem ve babam yaşlı olduğu için zorlandılar epeyce. Arabayla da dolaşmak zor olduğu için arabayı otoparka bırakmıştık. Çünkü İstanbul’un trafiği hiç çekilecek gibi değil gerçekten. Fatih camisinde biraz dolaştık özellikle caminin önünde bulunan güneş saatimi ilgimi çekti. Eskiden namaz saatlerini belirlemek için bu saat kullanılıyormuş. O devirde böyle bir şeyin akıla gelmesi ve düşünülmesi çok duygulandırdı beni. Açıklamasını da çektim merak edenler fotoğraflardan bakabilir.
Then we visited the grave of the great commander Fatih Sultan Mehmet Han. We read prayers for him, thanked him for these beautiful buildings and Istanbul. I hope it will be a blessing to come again. It does me good to visit, to remember him, to pray to him.
Daha sonra da büyük komutan Fatih Sultan Mehmet Han’ın kabrini ziyaret ettik. Onun için dualar okuduk, bu güzel yapılar ve İstanbul için kendisine teşekkür ettik. Umarım bir daha gelmek nasip olur. Ziyaret etmek, onu anmak, ona dua etmek bana iyi geliyor.
