Why is it important to set up a recovery account?
First of all, there is something we need to know that when our account is stolen, the only thing we can do is to recover our account thanks to this account recovery tool.
- So if our account is stolen, we can recover our account within 30 days using our old master password and the Active key of our recovery account.
If we want to check our recovery account then we can check it through the Hiveblocks tool.
Kurtarma hesabı ayarlamak neden önemli?
Öncelikle bilmemiz gereken bir şey var ki o da Hive' da hesabımız çalındığı yapabileceğimiz tek şey bu hesap kurtarma aracı sayesinde hesabımızı kurtarabileceğimiz.

Who can I trust as a recovery account?
An account you want to set as a recovery account does not necessarily have to be another user's account. If there is a person you trust here and you can meet outside constantly, then you can set that person's account as a recovery account. But I think there is a more reliable way for this. You can open a new Hive account and set that account as a recovery account. I think you should set both your accounts as recovery accounts.
Let's get started then.
I generally like to use PeakD for such complex operations or other operations. Because I think PeakD is the fastest Hive frontend.
First of all, you must log in to your account on Peakd using Hivesigner or Keychain. Then you have to click on your profile. Then you have to click on the "Keys and Permissions" option.
Kurtarma hesabı olarak kime güvenebilirim?
Kurtarma hesabı olarak ayarlamak istediğiniz bir hesap kesinlikle başka bir kullanıcının hesabı olmak zorunda değil. After clicking on the "Change with Hivesigner" option, you will see a screen like this. After typing the account you want to set as the recovery account here, click "Confirm" and you will be directed to a screen where you need to enter your Hivesigner password. After entering your Hivesigner password, you will have set up your recovery account.
"Change with Hivesigner" seçeneğine tıkladıktan sonra karşınıza böyle bir ekran gelecek. Buraya kurtarma hesabı olarak ayarlamak istediğiniz hesabı yazdıktan sonra "Confirm" seçeneğine tıklayınca Hivesigner şifrenizi girmeniz gereken bir ekrana yönlendirileceksiniz. Hivesigner şifrenizi girdikten sonra da kurtarma hesabınızı ayarlamış olacaksınız.
You should then set your main account as the recovery account to the account you set as the recovery account. Remember, the recovery account process takes 30 days to complete.
