Hello friends, I hope all is well with you. Public transport is an affordable means of transportation and is very practical. In a city with a population of millions like Istanbul, there are some major, widely used vehicles. One of them is the Metrobuses you see below.
Metrobuses are very popular because of their many stops and the long distances they travel. I also like to use them. But today, for the first time, I used another vehicle, the Marmaray, which, like the Metrobuses, runs between two bridges and goes as far as Gebze outside Istanbul. I had to transfer from the Metrobus, so I got off at Küçükçekmece Metrobus station and walked to the Marmaray station. The journey took about 10 minutes. I found my way easily with the help of the signs along the way.
I went to the right side of the Metrobus overpass and this was the view I saw at the end of the overpass, my destination was in front of my eyes. I went down the stairs and crossed the pedestrian crossing in the photo.
The Marmaray sign was in front of me and I kept walking. I was a bit excited because it was my first time passing through here and I was very careful :)
When I crossed to the opposite lane, the station was in front of me. The parabola-shaped structure in front of the buildings is the station itself.
As I kept moving forward, I saw kittens eating their food. They were tiny and sweet.
I was getting closer and closer to the station.
I crossed the overpass opposite the fish shops and the station was at my feet.
And unfortunately I missed the train:((
So I tried to enjoy the overpass because the view was great.
Here I come..
Rails
I had to wait for about 10 minutes. The crowd increased as I waited. Then the train arrived and I continued my journey.
And I got off the train in Üsküdar on the opposite side and enjoyed the rest of the day. Thank you for accompanying me on this journey🌸🌸🌸🌸

Merhaba arkadaşlar, umarım sizde her şey yolundadır. Toplu taşımalar uygun fiyatlı ulaşım araçlarından olup oldukça pratiktirler. İstanbul gibi milyonlarca nüfusa sahip olan bir şehirde de belli başlı, yaygın kullanılan bazı araçlar var. Bunlardan biri aşağıda gördüğünüz Metrobüsler.
Metrobüsler, çok sayıdaki durak sayısı ve gittiği uzun mesafelerle oldukça yoğun tercih edilen bir araç. Ben de severek kullanırım. Ama bugün ilk defa bir başka araç olan Marmaray'ı kullandım. Marmaray da yine aynı metrobüsler gibi iki köprü arasında hareket eden ve İstanbul'un dışında Gebze'ye kadar bile gidiyorlar. Metrobüsten aktarma yapmam gerekiyordu ve ben de bunun için Küçükçekmece Metrobüs durağında inip, Marmaray istasyonuna yürüdüm. Yol yaklaşık 10 dakika sürdü. Yol boyunca tabelalar yardımıyla yolumu kolayca buldum.
Metrobüs üst geçicinde sağ tarafa doğru gittim ve üst geçidin sonunda gördüğüm manzara buydu, gideceğim yol gözlerimin önündeydi. Merdivenlerden indim ve fotoğraftaki yaya geçidinden karşıya geçtim.
Marmaray tabelası karşımdaydı ve yürümeye devam ettim. İlk kez buradan geçtiğim için biraz heyecanlıydım ve oldukça da dikkatliydim :)
Karşı şeride geçtiğimde istasyon karşımdaydı. Binaların önünde görünen parabol şeklindeki yapı istasyonun ta kendisi.
İlerlemeye devam ederken, mamalarını yiyen kedişler gördüm. Minik ve tatlıydılar.
İstasyona daha da çok yaklaşıyordum.
Balıkçıların karşısındaki üst geçitten geçtim ve istasyon artık dibimdeydi.

Ben de üst geçidin tadını çıkarmaya çalıştım çünkü manzarası harikaydı.
İşte geldim..
Raylar
Yaklaşık 10 dakika beklemem gerekti. Bekledikçe kalabalık arttı. Ardından tren geldi ve ben de yolculuğuma devam ettim.
Ve karşı yakada, Üsküdar'da trenden indim ve günmün geri kalanının tadını çıkarttım. Bu yolulukta bana eşlik ettiğiniz için teşkekkür ederim🌸🌸🌸
