Hello,
Today I want to tell you about an unusual place. Yesterday, I visited Turkey's 2nd largest race track, located where I live. Actually, I had no intention of going there right now. But the engine sounds that can be heard from miles away drew me in. I immediately took my Canon 200d camera and set off.

Bugün sizlere sıradışı bir yerden bahsetmek istiyorum. Dün, yaşadığım yerde bulunan Türkiyenin en büyük 2. yarış pistini ziyaret ettim. Aslında şu sıralar oraya gitmek gibi bir niyetim yoktu. Ama kilometrelerce öteden duyulun motor sesleri beni kendine çekti. Hemen Canon 200d fotoğraf makinemi alıp yola çıktım.

Ülkü racetrack is a wonderful place that hosts motor sports. The facility, which has an area of 245 square meters, was put into service in 1997. With a track length of 2,186 km, it is the largest track in Turkey after Istanbul Park. It is worth noting that not only motor sports are held in this facility. There are also three go kart tracks and a paintball field within the facility. Apart from these, there are VIP lounge, fairground, cafeteria and training halls in the facility.

Ülkü yarış pisti motor sporlarına ev sahipliği yapan harika bir yer. 245 metrekarelik alana sahip olan tesis, 1997 yılında hizmete girdi. 2.186 km pist uzunluğu ile İstanbul Park'ın ardından Türkiye'nin en büyük pisti konumunda. Bu tesiste sadece motor sporlarının yaplmadığını belirtmekte fayda var. Tesis içerisinde ayrıca üç tane go kart pisti ile bir paintball sahası bulunuyor. Bunlar dışında tesiste vip salonu, fuar alanı, kafeterya ve eğitim salonları bulunuyor.

When I arrived at the racetrack, I began to think I was on my unlucky day. Engine noises were gone. I said at least I would go inside the facilities and take pictures. But the officer did not allow it. I made my way home sadly. Then all of a sudden the sound of a racing car's engine sounded. I looked in that direction with excitement. There was only one vehicle. But I did not want to return empty-handed. Then another vehicle appeared. I immediately approached the barbed wire of the runway. I went to a suitable place and started to wait for the right time. Vehicles were speeding towards me. There was a sharp bend where I was. Engine sounds and brake sounds mixed together in those turns.

Yarış pistine vardığımda şansız günümde olduğumu düşünmeye başladım. Motor sesleri kesilmişti. En azından tesislerin içerisine girip fotoğraf çekerim dedim. Ama görevli izin vermedi. Üzgün bir şekilde evin yolunu tutttum. Sonra birdenbire bir yarış otomobilinin motor sesleri yükseldi. Heyecanla o yöne baktım. Sadece tek bir araç vardı. Ama elim boş dönmek istemiyordum Sonra bir araç daha göründü. Hemen pistin dikenli tellerine yaklaştım. Uygun bir yere geçip doğru zamanı beklemeye başladım. Araçlar hızla bana doğru geliyordu. Bulunduğum yerde keskin viraj vardı. Motor sesleri ile fren sesleri o dönüşlerde birbirine karışıyordu.

I was constantly changing places to get better pictures. It looked amazing from every angle no matter where I looked at it. Especially the ruts, which look like a signature on the track, were great.

Daha iyi fotoğraflar yakalamak için sürekli yer değiştiriyordum. Nereden bakarsam bakayım her açıdan muhteşem görünüyordu. Özellikle pistte bir imza gibi duran tekerlek izleri harikaydı.

All the photos I took yesterday are of test drives. Many important races are held here every year. I can't wait to run into one of those races. For now, I end my content with the magnificent visual feast of the other race car. Thank you for reading.
