a dear work colleague of mine came to me the other day with a 3D print request,
her son is a big fan of Guardians of the Galaxy. Somewhere she saw a Baby Groot wearing headphones, so she asked me if I could print her a Baby Groot headphone holder.

eine liebe Arbeitskollegin von mir kam neulich mit einer 3D Druck bitte zu mir,
ihr Sohn ist ein großer Fan von Guardians of the Galaxy. Irgendwo hat sie einen Babygroot gesehen, der Kopfhörer trägt, also hat sie mich gefragt, ob ich ihr einen Baby Groot Kopfhörer Halter Drucken könnte.
In one of my first posts here on HIVE I already introduced a Groot figure,
I took this one, changed the position of the arms a bit, cut off the legs and scaled everything up.
I find the result very satisfying.
In einem meiner ersten Posts hier auf HIVE habe ich Schoneinmal einen Groot Figur vorgestellt,
diese habe ich genommen, die Position der Arme etwas geändert, die Beine abgeschnitten und alles hochskaliert.
Das Ergebnis finde ich sehr zufriedenstellend.
At 135 mm, the head is wide enough to hold human headphones.
With a span of 280 mm and a height of 240mm, the Groot is just about printable on my
250mm x 250mm print bed.
Der Kopf ist mit 135 mm breit genug, um Menschenkopfhörer zu halten.
Mit einer Spannweite von 280 mm und einer Höhe von 240mm ist der Groot auf meinem 250mm x 250mm Druckbett gerade noch druckbar.
The printing took a little over 24 hours, but the end result is something to be proud of.
Der Druck hat etwas über 24 stunden gedauert, aber das Endergebnis kann sich sehen lassen.
My colleague was very happy in any case and her son surely also.
