Born and raised on Chicago’s “West Side”, BARNONE THE M.O.D. refined his skills performing in local venues as a solo artist. BARNONE is among the hottest Midwest hip-hop artists today, his dedication to distinctive music has produced multiple sensational projects: Whip it Like ah Chevy; Not Friends; I’m ah Boss; and Dat Heat are some of his earlier work, now he has turned up even more with new hit songs such as YOU AINT; SHOT CALL; and DO THA ALPACINO.
BARNONE is the founder of the independent record label Closed Casket Entertainment LLC (C.C.E.). In 2011, he released one mix CD of new music Family First which is currently being sold. This music was recorded as BARNONE THE M.O.D. also as a member of N.O.M.A.D.S. and C-FAM. In 2012 BARNONE released his album CARDIAC ARREST with heavy hitting feature's from BRICK SQUAD MONOPOLY'S artist BO DEAL an affiliate PAPER BOY DA GREAT and some of the hottest up an coming artist from the Midwest. In 2017 he dropped his album ACROSS STATE LINES and currently is working on 2 other projects, NOW OR NEVA and A D.IS.C (A DISASTER IS COMING). He is ready for anything the rap game brings his way.
BARNONE continues to work with many Midwest Hip Hop and R&B talent on their projects and his own. He also works with numerous producers, both new to the business and those advancing their careers! He continues to travel throughout the Midwest building an excited fan base that appreciates his passion. His work on numerous projects has achieved local acclaim about his lyrical content and performance skills. In 2020, he will focus on recording and releasing his next 2 albums.
