In his long career of interpreting and upholding the laws which bind us all in America, one of the highlights of Thurgood Marshall's career, was being appointed as
the first black the first African American (what does that say - not all dark skinned chaps are born in Africa?) Supreme Court Justice.
He is decorated by such cases, as a lawyer, like the infamous Brown versus the Board of Education where he fought and won the right for 'black' children to attend the same schools as 'white' children. He also was part of the majority judging panel as a justice, in the Roe vs Wade case that basically legalized abortion. He retired in 1991 due to health issues and died a few years later.
“Racism separates, but it never liberates. Hatred generates fear, and fear once given a foothold binds, consumes and imprisons. Nothing is gained from prejudice. No one benefits from racism.”

We now honor those that are using our family tag - #thealliance. These 'history' posts are getting some attention as I also include my three picks for curated content between now and the last issue. The three creators are beneficiaries of these posts. What would be a good percentage for these lovely humans? Since you can't handle the truth, and the truth is subject to interpretation and interpretation is relative to a beauty in the eye of the beholder, we'll go with some kind of percent.
